When I export and import a site, use the “find and replace” function in AI1WPM and export to a file. I then upload using the same plugin on the other site. I notice that my custom plugin’s directory structure changes on import. Instead of my plugin directories and files being overwritten with the new directories and files, my directories are being merged. The files with with the same name are properly overwritten with the new file, but all other directories and files are combined.
Why is Local OR AI1WPM merging these files, as opposed to overwriting/replacing my custom plugin’s files/directories?
]]>At the moment trying to get it to work locally using Local by Flywheel.
I can’t locate their mysqldump file
I get the “Excellent. You Are Good To Go”.
but later “Database Failed To Backup On ‘May 25, 2022 @ 9:06 am’. Invalid Backup File Path.”
Have tried these locations for Path To mysqldump:
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/database/mysql/mysqld.sock
also
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/mZfSVOrvZ/mysql/data/local
and
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/mZfSVOrvZ/mysql/data/mysql.ibd
Path To mysql:
/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Local/run/database/mysql
and for Path To Backup:
/Users/user/Local Sites/my-site/app/public/wp-content/backup-db
That being said it is true that if you physically “Stop Site” (not the app!!!) the Local (by flywheel) Ap does update a backup file located at /Users/user/Local Sites/my-site/app/sql.
This in itself is great however if possible i really would love to have the luxury of scheduled backups that your plugin provides.
Thanks
]]>I have our Live-Site hosted on a Litespeed-Server. My Dev enviroment is set up with “Local by Flywheel” (nginx, MySQL, PHP 7.4.1) on a Windows 10 machine.
Unfortunately it’s not possible, to activate the LiteSpeed Cache plugin here.
The installation works without a problem, but the activation ends with an fatal:
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 1200 seconds exceeded in C:\Users\ecc\Local Sites\the-dev-site\app\public\wp-content\plugins\litespeed-cache\src\htaccess.cls.php on line 197
The config of the LOCAL server:
Real life situation:
I created a ‘backup’ with BackupGuard 1.2.0 Platinum on my online site.
Can I restore this backup on my “Local by Flywheel” machine installing BackupGuard 1.2.0 Platinum on my local site, for example? This would be handy to do some testings in local quickly…
For this purpose, do I need to ‘migrate’ and create a migrate-backup file instead maybe and everything should work fine?
I tried disabling all plugins but TranslatePress. I tried switching Themes. Same result.
I also saw that after finally disabling TranslatePress and removing the plugin, the database still stays polluted with TRP tables and rows in wp_options.
]]>Now I am in a pickle. I have built a site on Local. But I do not know how to get it live? I purchased a GoDaddy reseller account and I have a domain name from another service that I would like to use on this website.
Is there an easy, novice, beginner way to do all this?
Thank you
]]>Just installed this delightful plugin and added a serious of events. However, when I select view page on the dashboard I get the under noted error:
No Results Found The page you requested could not be found.
I am building the site locally using Local by Flywheel.
I am able to add the events list widget and it views on the site ok.
Really appreciate any advice.

]]>I switched from Wamp to Local by Flywheel for Local wordpress development.
and it seems that I cannot get Elementor to function correctly under the flywheel operation.
The problem: The Save as Template and Template section while editing a page/post with elementor does not work. ( You get the infinite Loading screen.)
Normally this is a problem with not enough memory, however, I have alotted 1GB of memory to the website/WordPress/local by flywheel.
Does anyone know how to make Elementor work correctly with local by flywheel?
Any help is much appreciated,
Thank you.
]]>I’m working on WordPress locally.
I downloaded Bold Page builder in my plugins and activated it. but when I go to my page to try and use it it is not there.
Is it compatible with Local by flywheel?
