We were looking for a way to manage all our literature in one place so we didn’t have to upload a new file and update links in 100 different places. This plugin lets you do that by just adding a new “external” link to the literature and it will then update everywhere you have the literature on your site.

But I could not apply the proposed solution in the free version.

I went the other way:
I gave access to add pictures to all users through the plugin https://geekflare.com/allow-contributor-add-wordpress-media/

The button appeared, but when loading the picture an error appears:
“Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post.”

What needs to be done to solve this problem?

I’m new to the blogosphere, and I’m here looking for some advice on my site Really Deep Stuff. It’s essentially a personal blog, full of humour and anecdotal stories, punctuated with themes from pop culture and society today. I guess the writing’s progressing well, I just want to be sure of an overarching theme, which was suggested I sort of figure out quickly and settle into as the site evolves.

My music and movie blogs

I get fed up with a lot of movies that are released today. Same with music. We’re bombarded with Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. So I decided to create two blogs: RagnaRock Music and Luminous (still under construction). The music one will be in full swing next week sometime when three more of our writers start, but for now it’s just me and one of my friends posting so it’s only a couple posts a day or so. We do articles on every genre of music, from rock to rap to classical to jazz to sitar. We talk about great recordings from a long time ago, and new ones that haven’t even come out yet. We also to “spotlight”s where every month there is an artist we write about. Enjoy!

Luminous should be up in a little bit after I find enough writers for it. I’m also in the process of creating a literature blog as well. Each of the three blogs will have a unique color scheme but the same structure and be a part of my collection.

If you like what I have done so far leave a comment and wish me luck with my endeavor! If not, I appreciate feedback and constructive criticism. And feel free to come back and keep reading once we get the posts in full swing!

This week, I have debuted a new art and literature shopping website called Penelope Room (Peneloperoom.com).

It is a site that searches for great, affordable art and smart literature. I, along with future contributors, publish featured items on the home page and anyone can register to create their own favorites page (that I then format to fit the design).

I’m hoping for a review that is fairly harsh and in-depth. I can handle criticism well and need a hard eye on the site to help me make it function better. I’m looking particularly for ease of access, overall presentation and architecture (including colors, text, images, etc.), understanding of purpose and usage, navigation, and anything else you may feel needs to be adjusted or pointed out.
