Hey there,

We’re using some custom built plugin to add options to the TinyMCE link widget in the classic editor.

We’ve installed ?All In One SEO? and our customized Link options in the link widget is overwritten by ?All In One SEO? options (Add rel=”nofollow” to link, Add rel=”sponsored” to link, Add rel=”UGC” to link).

Is it possible to deactivate this functionality from ?All In One SEO? trough a plugin setting or WordPress Hook?

I started working with the Dyad theme. There is a Widget called “link” which displays links in my header. How do I add links? Right now, if I add the link widget, things like
Get Mobile
Get Polling
Get Support
Great Reads
Learn WordPress.com
Theme Showcase
are displayed. There doesn’t seem to be a control anywhere that lets me add links, outside of a post. And adding /wp-admin to my site name does not lead to the menu described in the howto about the link widget. Thanks for your help!

External link in "our team" widget

I want to add an external link in “our team” widget description so I’m able to especify individual phone numbers for each member.

I tried with ? (011) 15-5875-9785 but after saving code is changed to \"tel:+541158759785\">? (011) 15-5875-9785 and link doesn’t work as external link.

I’ve set the display of my “all” links to 1. But all categories are displayed. Is it normal ? I wanted the widget to display “1” of every category randomly.

Hello,

Feeling a bit stupid: I’m new to blogs but not programming.

Anyway, I’ve recently set up a blog, and am gradually experimenting w/ widgets, etc. Added a few, including Links/Blogroll. However, in this widget, only WP links appear…. none of the ones I reference in my posts, regardless of whether I check ‘all links’ or ‘blogroll’…. listing is the same.

What am I missing?

This should be easy, but i just can’t work it out.

I want to be able to put a link in a sidebar (making it look like a normal page link) but take it straight to a page in my store. For instance the page is Skin Care Products – they click on the link which takes them straight to the products in my store.

I’m thinking there must be two ways of doing this, first putting in a widget that will allow me to put text in with a link.

creating a page which is forwarded instantaneously to my store page (this sounds easier).

suggestions appreciated.

Want To Add Text Before Link In Blogroll

I want to add a tiny bit of lead-in text for a link in my blogroll. An example would be a link to Sparkpeople.. If I wanted my link to say Join Me at Sparkpeople, but only have the word Sparkpeople clickable. This has bugged me for hours. I tried to switch to a text widget, but then would have to rearrange my entire theme. If this were simple html, I would only have to move the words “Join Me At” before the a href tag.

It is just one link I need to change so a simple hack would be fine.

link widget doesn’t work

I am using Xeiro Theme 1.1. I have gone into Design -> Widgets but and there are a number of widgets there with the option of adding them. Links also appears but no option to add it another links to either sidebar. How do i change this? Or where can I find a simple links widget for linking to other static pages within my own site?

I have a List of links in my left sidebar and now I want to put a different list in a link widget in my right sidbar. All the links I add to a new category go into the the left sidebar list and all of my links go into the link widget regardless of what category I put them into. Can I separate it and have only one category of links go into my links widget and a different category of links into the left sidebar? Thanks
