Plugin to Share Links

Good morning everyone,

I am in need of some suggestions on if there is a plugin that allows me to offer users an option of sharing their site link on my site and in return they share mine on theirs. I have been looking through the plugin’s but not really able to find anything that would allow me to do this.

Basically what I am wanting to do, is if a user has a site of their own, that fits in with the content of my site, I would like them to be able to submit their site information, so a link to their site can be added to mine, and in return my information is given to them to add my site to theirs. Was hoping it would be able to give information as well on how many clicks each link gets for statistic purposes.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. I did a search on the forums here, but nothing that would help was shown.

Can’t get Facebook to show the proper site title

Whenever I post a link to Facebook or include it in my email, the term “Ordained Minister” always shows. I have removed it from everywhere I can find it but it still shows. Any idea how I can get rid of it and where it’s being pulled from? Thank you!

Everything has been working fine until today. I kept getting this error on Facebook of Page not found. For the life of me I have tried everything I can think of. Have had my site up since 2012. I did a debug with facebook tools and the site is not blocked. Can someone please give a clue as to where to look to get this corrected?

I kindly request your assistance, my page has been hacked when I am sharing links to others it is displaying other data. I’ve fixed this links only on Facebook on the debugger page but when I am sharing links anywhere it always display content about sex. Please find below examples. Please tell me how to fix this and how to update Meta or any extension plugin. Thanks!

Remove Date from Shared Event Link

Whenever I share a link to an event on Facebook or Twitter it comes up with the date in brackets at the end of the event name. Not only does this look untidy, but it also comes up as yyyy/dd/mm format, which as a UK user isn’t helpful. I also don’t get images coming up on Twitter, either when the event has a featured image or not.

Is there any way to remove this?

Sharing wordpress link on facebook stopped working

Sometime in march, possibly after I did the latest update on wordpress, sharing links from my wordpress site on facebook stopped working. Previously, facebook was able to pull one of the pictures from my post and the abstract but now only the link address appears.

I’ve looked through the forum and tried a couple of suggestions – removing https://www and backslash from url, installing OG meta tags both manually and via plugins and they have all not worked. When I run the facebook debugger, it gives me a 200 response code. Error says “can’t download: could not retrieve data from url”

Does anyone have any ideas? I am stumped.
