In previous versions of WordPress, whenever I clicked a link in the Gutenberg editor, I could rapidly see the “open in new tab” and “set to nofollow” options. With the new WordPress 6.3 update, that’s no longer possible. Now, I have to click the link, click on “Edit”, and then click again on “Advanced Features”. No more a seamless experience, now taking more time to select a simple option. I would love if you could revert this in your next update.

Classic Editor witching to visual doesn’t work

Hi!

I am using the classic editor and updated to WP 5.5. (incl. all plugins). Inside the editor, when I switch from VISUAL to TEXT, I cannot scroll anymore. I have to reload the page to make it work. Inside the VISUAL editor, I cannot change link options like “target blank” or “nofollow”. The context window doesn’t appear.

Link Options button causes odd behavior in dashboard

When we add a link to a post and click the “link options” button there is odd behavior. We don’t get the popup window with the options. A placeholder link shows up and the scrolling of the browser window disappears.

This was fine last night. We didn’t update any plug-ins or anything last night. Tested this on two different computers.

Adding link with custom theme gallery

I have a custom gallery as part of the Luisa theme, so I am not creating a gallery through Media > Create Gallery, but through the theme option for this.

I do however see the link options when I view the image in the media library and can fill in the ‘Gallery Link url’ etc. But when I look on the page it is not linked / clickable. It concerns the 2 closeup square images of the brooches. Is there a way to work around this?

Your help would be very appreciated!

It seems that the LINK button post editor no longer gives the option for a target or a title. Am I missing something. It was a lot less time consuming to have those option available in one click. Now I have to add my link and then type in the rest by hand on the page.

If there’s something I’m not getting about this, please let me know.
