SEO Ultimate: Link Mask Generator – ending Slash problem

First off, thanks for this wonderful plugin. I think it’s a must have.

I’m a very satisfied user but I found a problem I hope you’ll fix.

The short urls generated with Link Mask Generator REQUIRE an ending slash to work properly. For Example:
this url:
https://standupcomedy.it/bill-hicks-cofanetto-completo/
has been shortened into this link:
https://standupcomedy.it/go/hicks-complete/
but it doesn’t work with this url:
https://standupcomedy.it/go/hicks-complete

This become a real issue if I want to share some URL “offline”..

Is there any way to fix this behaviour? maybe allowing the link to work in both ways, with and without the ending slash?

Link Mask Generator Alias URL not working

Hi,

I have the latest version of Ultimate SEO.
Link Mask Generator Alias URL’s not working.
Actual URL are filled and valid (copy pasted and works)
Alias URL starts with go/ (plugins default)
Example: go/klingande_-_jubel

Every alias url gives me the blog 404 page.

My host is a VPS handled by me with Nginx web server.

issue on link mask generator

Hello,

when i try to create a news link inside Link Mask Generator i get the fallow error:

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin.php?page=su-internal-link-aliases on this server. www.casinocondominiums.com

but it is strange that before create the link i can acess same page, the error only displays when i try to save a news link

Link Mask Generator and it's affect on search indexing

While adding some pages to my robots.txt file created through SEO Ultimate I noticed the Disallow:/go/ for link masking.

Well I am not trying to mask any links on affiliate sales otherwise I’d just use rel=nofollow which is their biggest concern. I am curious if oogle frowns when they see Disallow: /go/ in robots or if it matters. Would really appreciate the assurance thank you.

My current robots.txt looks like:

It’s been a while since I used the plugin. I was under the impression that you could mask all links globally, and then unmask them on a page-by-page, link-by-link basis. I found an old blog posting to that effect.

Wasn’t there a window underneath the text editor that listed all of the links on the page, and then you could click a check box for the links to unmask?

In any event, for siloing purposes, I want to mask the entire top nav, and only unmask the sidebar navigation links. How would I accomplish this?

SEO Ultimate Link Mask Generator – Stop Requiring Trailing Slashes

Hi, this is a great plugin, but one thing that would be nice is to remove the need to have a trailing slash at the end of the URLs used by the link mask generator. Sometimes I forget to type the trailing slash and they don’t work. It’d be nice to recognize both of these.

Redirection problem

I am facing a great problem of redirection in WP.
I am using SEO Ultimate, Version 7.2.1 | By SEO Design Solutions.
But it is producing a number of 404 errors, which I cannot rectify properly…
For example, on my site, I have two URLs as follows –
https://vsagar.com/2012/02/10/fundamentalsof-robot-electronics-workshop-schedule-basic-tutorials/
https://vsagar.com/2012/02/22/fundamentalsof-robot-electronics-workshop-schedule-basic-tutorials/

These are the URLs of my post “Fundamentals of robot electronics: Workshop schedule and basic tutorials”.
I had edited this post once only and now the older (upper) link of the post is not working.
Now the problem is how to redirect this URL?
I tried it from the “Link Mask Generator” without any luck…
Please anybody help…
