I am currently running WP 4.0.1 and I am receiving this error message trying to update to 4.3. What needs to be done to correct this? My server admin is not helpful.

I am terrified by these gigantic warnings that i am getting all the time i manually upload any theme or plugin. automatic download is also showing second warning every time and not letting me install any theme and plugin. Is this issue with update.php, how can i resolve it?

i am a new comer on wordpress. Please help me come out safely from this quagmire of warnings.

WordPress update created an update.php error

After updating to 4.2.1 I started getting the error “WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in xxxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/update.php on line 295.”
I tried uploading the update.php file from the WP file here, but there was no change.

So far, I’ve found that the error keeps me from searching/accessing new plugins, but everything else seems to be operating properly so far.

Any suggestions?

Hi –
I recently upgrade my WordPress site to 4.1 and since then the site is having some trouble. Most noticeably it’s downloading very slowly but also when I login to the Dashboard, after waiting a while, I get this message at the top of the page:
