Submit Special Mail Tag as hidden field?

We’re using CF7 to as a lead collection tool. We’ve recently begun working with Salesforce and use a plugin to map form fields to our SF Lead object. We’d like to capture the [url] Special Mail Tag, which we’ve been including the email form completion sends to our Sales team, but the SF integration works with the actual submission not the email.

If there is a way to include the {url] Special Mail Tag as a hidden field with that submission, I could easily map it to the lead-source field in SF, but if there is a way to submit the tag as a hidden field, it’s escaping me.

Any ideas?

Alternatively, any other methods you’re using to capture referring URL directly into a source field in Salesforce?

I’ve added the lead source as a hidden field in a form within the wordpress pluggin. However its not saving as everytime I go back in it is set to none on the drop down. Please can you help.

Is there a way to define the lead source? I see the option “Set Lead Source field (will overwrite existing value)” but there is no place to set it, there is only a checkbox.

Let me begin by stating how awesome your plugin has been to our website build. Considering this is a side project, what an amazing product you’ve created.

Since testing the functionality, we’ve noticed that Infusionsoft not adding the Lead Source info when creating a Contact. Is there anything that can be done on this end to activate that hidden field?

Can I make Lead Source a picklist

Thank you for this plug in. I currently use web to lead on my site but I added your plugin to combat spam by adding Capcha. I have my Lead Source field set up as a picklist with several options and I can’t find where to add the picklist fields for Lead Source since there is only one field to enter text for Lead Source in the Form Settings. It isn’t a custom field but can I still add it in as a new field and input the picklist options?

Hi,

We would like to assign the appropriate automatic email response to anyone who submits their details in particular Salesforce W2L forms.

Our developer is trying to write a trigger that automatically detects the Lead Source and sends the appropriate response.

However, Salesforce is not picking up the WP “Lead Source” field at all set in the WP plugin.

Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have suggestions?

Only the first 40 characters of my Lead Source %URL% is being captured. Not ideal when my URLs are longer than 40 characters.

Is there a way to increase the character limit for the Lead source field?

Custom lead source

Adding a custom lead source does not work. I added the gf_salesforce_lead_source filter to the functions.php. When I add a hidden field ‘lead_source’ to a form with a custom value this is not coming through in salesforce.
