If we have a product with AttributeX set (say, ValueY). If you use the site search for anything, as expected all the appropriate layered nav options come up. If I select ValueY for AttributeX in the layered Nav, it correctly excludes all other products with other values of AttributeX, however products that do not have AttributeX applied are not filtered out.
When I use the layered nave to filter a search result, I expect it to filter out everything that does not have that attribute/value set applies, but this does not seem to be the case.
I’m not able to find any setting that might alter this behavior. Is this behavior normal, and is there a way to change it?
]]>I use WooCommerce 2.6.9 on WordPress 4.7.
I have a widget “WooCommerce layered navigation” added to filter by brand.
These brands have been added to the “Attributes” of WooCommerce.
The problem is that automatically multiple “WooCommerce layered navigation” widgets with the “Attribute” “Brand” are added to the WordPress dashboard.
When this happens is not clear. If I remove them they keep coming back.
Does anyone know how I can prevent it?

]]>I’ve been developing a site where I need to create a Filtering system for products – I downloaded and have been trying to use the Custom Layered Navigation Plugin that is an extension of TCP but I cant seem to get the Product Attributes to display in the filter bar.
I’ve created a few attribute sets with attributes and applied them to some products and created the Layered Navigation Filter in the widget section, selecting the attributes that are relevant but nothing ever seems to show..?
Any ideas?
you can actually view the attempted widget on these pages (templates not actually finished yet though) – https://tatesnew.diligencedev.co.uk/buildings-category-test/

]]>I saw a post 2 years back about this matter, that wasn’t resolved.
The is a major problem in terms of seo, that all the pages that are generated by the layered navigation have the same titles.
Is there a solution to this? without one seo damage is substantial.
Thanks
]]>The issue i am having is with the text seems to be broked on the woo commerce layered navigation. Please review this on my site
https://www.coupon4all.in/product-category/tshirt/ look to the right side the first letter of the options is broken.
How can we fix this?
]]>If I use the layered navigation widget to filter by attributes on PAGE ONE of my products, it works just fine.
If I use the layered navigation widget to filter by attributes on PAGE TWO or any subsequent page of my products, it gives me a 404 error.
Any idea what could be causing the filter to break on all but the first page of products?

]]>I bought the Woothemes Superstore a while ago and now I wanted to use the layered navigation but so far I haven’t been able to get the widget to show.
I added the attributes and then the terms. When I click ‘look’ at one of the terms it redirects me to a product page.
Does someone knows how to get the layered nav to show? And were can I find a good tutorial about the layered navigation and product attributes, haven’t been able to find a good one on google/youtube or woothemes.
I am using Woocommerce 2.2.11 (can’t update because the search area is showing wrong in any of the updates.)

]]>Layered navigation allows the user to filter products by attribute – my example in clothing is waist size.
This works fine in the sidebar, but is it possible to create a menu item that uses this filter?
]]>We’re feeding woocommerce from an external source.
Everything is working fine exept the fact that the layered navigation is not updating correctly.
When we move a product from category A to B the attributes stay in cat A.
When we update a product online everything is correct again. Even when we only save the woocommerce settings the layered navigation is correct again.
Is their maybe a cachefile that’s taking control over the layered navigation?
The attributes show up on the product page (backend and frontend).
Hope somebody has a solution
