Problems with Kazakh Localization

In the past two months, I have made 519 translations for a Kazakh WordPress localization. But, there is no one to approve or edit the translations.

Besides, some random users have vandalized the draft of the Kazakh localization with hundreds of Russian-language entries. Also, no one to clean up this mess.

I’m trying to migrate my website from an old server to a new one. I configured my new server with the exact same PHP version as the old server (7.4).

However, every time I try to open the website on the new server, I encounter this error:

It seems to be related to the language files, but everything works fine on the old server. I can’t figure out where the issue lies.

Language suddenly switched to another language

Hi,

A few days ago, a client of mine reported that the language of WooCommerce had switched from Japanese to English.
I confirmed that the dashboard and front-end languages are in English.

No one made any changes to either WordPress or WooCommerce, and suddenly the language switched.
Neither the theme nor any other plugins were changed.
For the client’s convenience, both versions are still out of date, but had been working fine until then.

The WooCommerce language files was installed correctly. I replaced it with the same version of the language files just to be sure, but the problem was not resolved.

The WordPress site language was still Japanese. I tried to re-save the settings here too, just to be sure, but the problem did not resolve itself.
The administrator user language was also still in Japanese, and saving over it had no effect.

In the System Status of WooCommerce, “Language” is set to “ja”. However, it is not actually displayed in Japanese, but in English.

How can I get it back to Japanese as it was before?

Astra theme with language switcher on mobile problem

I added a language switcher to my website with Astra free theme. I see it fine in the main menu on desktop, but on mobile (even when clicking view desktop site) I have a %astra% besides the language option in the off-canvas menu. How can i find the problem? I tried removing the switcher from the menu but the menu still has the %astra%. Also, it looks like the 5astra% besides the menu in mobile is affecting the tilte of the website, it becomes on 2 lines…

Hello,
I’m struggling with loco translate. I designed a wordpress plugin that contains a certain number of texts correctly placed between __().
The plugin is well initialized with the following strings in the settings comments:

* Domain Path: /languages
* @sourceLanguage fr_FR

However, when I go to Loco Translate, to translate the texts of my plugin, it considers that the source is “EN” and therefore I cannot launch an automatic translation into English since for it the texts are already in English.
What is missing for it to understand that the original texts are in French?

Hi,

My Woocommerce has changed language, possibly, after the automatic update of WordPress to 6.7. My WordPress setting and my user are in Spanish, but Woocommerce is in English. Please, can someone help me?

Can it be related to the following Query Monitor error?

I have version 8.8.5 of Woocommerce, because I can not have another more updated due to a shipping plugin. I have installed Query Monitor and I get the following error:

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with the language translation feature on my website. When I attempt to translate a page to Portuguese (PT), the input field defaults to another language—in my case, Bulgarian. This happens consistently whenever I try to set the page to Portuguese.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to create post
2. Select Portuguese (PT) as the translation language.
3. Notice that the input language defaults to Bulgarian instead of Portuguese.

Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
