It seems that compatibility has worn off now as all I see is back-end markup going front end when it is using out-of-the-box features. It is disappointing to see symbols and meta characters coming up by default and having to manually edit the text in each and every post/page just to get the score to green as the plugin just fails to auto-populate absolutely ANYTHING correctly anymore. This makes the convenience of the choice disappear entireley.
Currently the worst part is AIO SEO cannot even detect focus keyphrases which ARE present in the places it calls for, however it seems to not know how Divi works? Also unlike how Google search spiders can, AIO SEO seems incapable of seeing words once they are pluralised – eg: service does not come up as a focus keyphrase, however services does, even though the word in totality is actually present within “services”.
Please help as this is on hundreds of my client’s sites and I am almost considering removing it and switching to Yoast! This includes several paid accounts because I need repeatability and reliability being a full stack developer, host and registrar internationally. I’m under high demand and don’t have time for stuff that does not work as described or is in beta test on the live public without their knowledge.
]]>I’ve tried Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Sitebulb and others, and they all pickup other meta data like the ‘Meta Description’ and ‘SEO Title’, but never the ‘Focus keyphrase’.
Can someone explain why this is? If the ‘Focus keyphrase’ isn’t being picked up in SEO audits, is it even relevant?
]]>I was wondering if you could help me out. I’m using Polylang as my multilingual plug-in, though this is not so much a conflict between the two I think,.
The issue I’m facing is (for example) – The home page(s) are all using the same focus keyphrase (the brand name). In my eyes that makes sense, since I believe you generally want the home pages to rank for the brand name keyphrase. However, I’m getting notices saying I’ve used this keyphrase several times before.
My question is: Shouldn’t the hreflang attributes be “noticable” to the point where the fact that the pages are the same (only in a different language) make these types of notices a moot point?
EDIT*: I also want to ask the same thing about product pages (be it WooCommerce ones, or on websites which don’t sell directly, but use product pages as showcasing examples).
I have an example of a website in 3 different languages, all showcasing the same product, with the keyphrase for all examples being the product name.
I’m having a problem with Yoast SEO plugin analysis.

What can I do?

]]>I want to ask about keyphrase from Yoast SEO, sometimes its not sync, but sometimes its synced. what should i do?
Thanks for the support and answer
Keyphrase in SEO title: Not all the words from your keyphrase appear in the SEO title. For the best SEO results write the exact match of your keyphrase in the SEO title, and put the keyphrase at the beginning of the title.
This is not working properly. All of my blog articles have the exact keyphrase present in the title. This was working fine until the last update. I have Version 19.5.1
For example, my latest blog article is titled “Colorful Box Turtle Painting” and my key phrase is “box turtle”.
]]>I’ve just become a vendor of sound effects at asoundeffect.com. I got acces to a WordPress editor (I think it’s WooCommerce based) to submit my products for review, yet I can’t do it, as my SEO check tells me: “no focus keyphrase set”. I’ve run through the product form many times – there’s literally no place to set it.
Anybody got an idea what I’m missing? Thanks!
