This happens the worst in Chrome and Opera but is seemingly ok in Firefox and Edge. BUt it wasn’t happening like this in any browser before a month or two ago. I’m not sure when it began happening as I haven’t been checking my site that often over the past while, the only big thing I can recall is updating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 but I didn’t think that would really cause this!
]]>I used it to make a 4 page application form for a finance company that had a lot of conditional logic within it and it was a hellishly slow experience.
To clarify – the editor becomes buggy and need to be reloaded as it lags and hangs for minutes at time. Then the form itself becomes ‘jumpy’ and slow for users on the front end.
WPForms also acknowledges this is a problem but still offers no ideal solution and it’s been almost 4 months now. They did suggest to upgrade our hosting and implement other wordpress site speed enhancements, but I have already covered all of that with the hosting we use together with the SEO optimisation process. The only options left are to upgrade the hosting (trying this first) or split the form up, which is going to create a tonne of work.
Overall can’t recommend this app for anyone who’s trying to build any kind of substantial form a it has wasted so much of my time and been very frustrating to use.
]]>This is when I’m checking via desktop PC. (The mobile version is fine since the menu I’m making sticky disappears entirely.) The menu sticks fine with a large screen, but when I resize the window to check its behavior on a smaller screen, at the top when the menu should not be sticky, the menu does not display and instead the page is jittery and just keeps jumping up and down. This behavior disappears when you you scroll down a bit and the menu becomes sticky. I’ve confirmed this issue on both Firefox and Chrome.
I am also using the plugin Mobile Menu. I’m not sure if the two are conflicting but the mobile menu properly displays when the screen size is smaller than the set number of pixels.
Any help with this issue would be appreciated! Thank you.
]]>1. For whatever reason the letter ‘a’ is being loaded on the page when I select the toggle symbol when plus and minus is selected in the settings. If I select another option it changes to ‘b’. Do you know what is causing this issue?
2. When one clicks on ‘+/a’ it jumps down to the answer, skipping the question and overall being very jumpy. Is it possible to change this?
3. Finally I have change the labelling for ‘Enter your question’ yet it does not seem to take the new input.

]]>I’ve spent many hours on this one to no avail so I figure it’s time to ask for help.
On my site, scrolling from the top of the page causes the header and text to “jump” down the screen about 100 pixels. Here’s the link to my site to see for yourself: https://www.andrewtufano.com.
I noticed the same behavior in the demo page from the theme website, https://www.mageewp.com/demo/?theme=onetone.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Thank you
Andrew
I use the shotcut
[ihrss-gallery type=”GROUP1″ w=”940″ h=”125″ speed=”1″ bgcolor=”#FFFFFF” gap=”20″ random=”YES”
and I resized all images to a height of 125 pixles.
The scrolling is really jumpy in firefox and a bit less in Internet Explorer (both current versions).
Any idea what I could do to usr faster scroll speeds?
Thanks!

]]>I have a client’s website running with the Meta Slider set as the PAGE HEADER/SLIDER. It was set to Nivo, fold transition. It folds once and then just jumps frantically through the rest without any folding. I tried Coin transition and IT didnt work either. Just jumps around with no natural looking transition.
I have deactivated everything except for it and it still doesnt work correctly. I deactivated it and reactivated it and it still didnt work. I changed to Twenty Thirteen and Fifteen and the slider didn’t even show up at all.
I emailed the Vantage theme creators and they say it isn’t their theme it’s meta slider.
I thought maybe it was just internet connection but my client and her colleagues see it too. No matter how fully loaded the page is, it still doesn’t work.
Because I cannot leave a client’s website looking crazy I had to change it to the standard fade flex slider but that IS NOT what my client wants and she is emphatic about it.
