Outputting extra whitespace on WPBakery Page Builder

Greetings,

I get the “Warning: Your WordPress installation has a problem with outputting extra whitespace. This can corrupt backups that you download from here. Follow this link for more information” after deactivating plugins and activating one by one it seems that the problem is caused by WPBakery Page Builder.
I tried upgrade it to the latest version v.6.9.0 also tried deleting the whole plugin folder and uploading a fresh one but the problem persists.

I am running a WordPress v.5.8.4

Have you seen this issue before?

howto update the js_composer in Astra theme

At the begining, a few years ago, a society created the website with Astra theme.

From a couple of months, the modification of pages or articles is not possible because of a problem with the “js_composer” plugin.

So I tried to download a new version.

I pay for that:
“Thanks for buying with us. Below is a summary of your recent purchase. You can download your purchased item at your Downloads page and view your invoice(s) on your statement here.”

After download, that doesn’t work!

I tried to contact the support of “js_composer” plugin.

The answer is:
The issue as mentioned in our first reply is because there is a Visual Composer related code present in your theme added by the theme author. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine.
Unfortunately, this code is added by the theme author via the theme files and hence we are not aware of it’s location. It is for the same reason that we had suggested you to contact him. If we were aware of it or it’s location in the theme, then we would have guided you with a step by step process without having you to contact the theme author.”

I tried to contact the Astra theme author, but no answer is coming…

I tried to replace the js_composer directory in the Astra directory by the new one. But after that I just obtain “error 500”.

Someone know howto update the js_composer in Astra theme?

Meta description issue with Visual Composer

Hi,

I’ve some problem with Yoast SEO wordpress plugin and Visual Composer.

I use Visual Composer backend builder to build the page. It built the layout with shortcodes. (https://prnt.sc/dbkr8g) .

But, if I build with visual composer, Yoast SEO not generating the meta description tags (https://prnt.sc/dbkso1). Yoast SEO can extract the initial texts from article automatically if I use the default editor.

I’m using the latest versions, WordPress v4.6.1, VC v5.0.1 and Yoast(wordpress-seo) v3.8 .

How can I fix this issue?

Anyone using WF along with plugin JS_Composer installed ?
have received alert today stating “file appears to be malicious wp-content/plugins/js_composer/js_composer.php
but when i check i dont see any issue.

WPBakery Visual Composer(in theme ) created spam/junk files in .x1-unix folder
due to this resource limit increses and site got hack.

Hello everybody, I am wasting a long time looking for how I can deactivate 3 css about js_composer plugin.

I would like to have only 1 css with all classes includes (to improve seo), I’ve got it, I found how I can delete these stylesheets with function.php and others searching inside the plugin code.

But now this 3 css lasted and I don’t know what can I do:
