Comments from Js-Kit XML export imported as posts

Hoping someone can help.. after hours and hours of work converting old FTP hosted blogger account over to my own website hosted WordPress blog, I had everything running pretty smoothly until the final step of attempting to import Js-kit hosted comments from xml file. The converter from xml to xmr kept bombing, so after many support contacts with js-kit, they advised I try the RSS import, which I did, but all the comments imported as if they were primary posts made by admin. Now I have a bunch of comments intermingled with the main blog posts. Is there any simple way of fixing this? Or do I need to just trash the “posts” that were created by this import? Any way to get old Haloscan (now Js-kit) comments to successfully link to old blog posts? I don’t mind manually editing php or the rss export files if someone can direct me to where links need to be edited.

Different Themes… Different Commenting Systems?

I use the Revolution theme for my website (vuhoops.com) as well as the JS-Kit commenting system.

For my mobile users, I have the Carrington Mobile theme activated which is not compatible with the JS-Kit commenting system.

Is it possible to deactivate or switch the commenting code in the Mobile Theme to use the default WP comments???

Can I import Comments from JS-Kit Comment Feed?

My site is currently with blogger on my own domain at www.mandm.org.nz.

In May my blogger comments feed died – new comments stopped showing on it, I got no notifications, recent comments widgets no longer worked. Then, mysteriously, it began working again two days ago. Anyway, I have had JS-Kit comments since April, so all comments during the 6-7 weeks the blogger comments feed was not functional are in my JS-Kit comments feed.

I am now wanting to move to WordPress and have imported all my blog posts and comments from blogger but, of course, I am missing all comments made on my site since May through to two days ago.

Is there a way of importing those comments from my JS-Kit comments feed?

It is very important to me that I do not lose these comments from my site as the debates in some of them are very good and people have linked to many of the posts on the basis of not just the original content but the ensueing debate in the comments.

JS-Kit tell me:

You can use our “export comments” functionality (open “Sites I manage”
area) to download all your comments.
However we cannot suggest you a solution how to import comments into WordPress. Please try to find a 3rd party solution in the WordPress community.

If anyone has a solution that would be awesome!

Where do i have to integrate the code of JS-Kit?
