Since updating wordpress and yoast to the latest version, it has stopped working. It doesn’t show at all in our custom posts, doesn’t display (tabs are there but none show info) in normal posts and it doesn’t allow to change between visial and text tabs.
I have tried the regular stuff like deactivating all plugins/ theme etc and it’s certainly YOAST. I updated immediately to the latest one and still have same issues.
I can see lots of people are having the same issues, any suggestions?

Googling shows 419 pages. Thought that was strange since I should have around 200.

I checked my sitemap to see if anything weird was in it and was fine.

The page above (chatom-vineyards) is indexed by Google but another page below (chatom-vineyards-2) is also indexed in Google & I assume was created by Yoast SEO? It should not be indexed.

I see others have had this problem and somehow fixed it, but that post is so old that the links have all expired and unfortunately no one has fixed the plug-in or pasted the code into a forum post :\

So, please! If the author could maybe take a look at his code, or if someone has the fix and can copypasta it into a reply, that would be amazing.

Does anyone know how to remove “https://” in the canonical tag from Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin?

Diverse Solutions is a real estate IDX provider to agents. My client’s site https://www.lindakilroy.com/ has a search box beside the slider, with an “advanced search” link leading to https://www.lindakilroy.com/idx/advanced/.

I’ve disabled all plugins one by one to test and narrowed it down to WordPress SEO. It results in a white page. The way that this IDX system works is to on-the-fly find results for the searches of the MLS database (property listings) without making actual pages/posts for each entry. So, there is no technical “idx/advanced” page in Pages/Posts/Custom Post Types (Listings).

For example, the title of my main page is ‘Teknófilo | El blog de los amantes de la tecnologíaTeknófilo | El blog de los amantes de la tecnología’.

A similar problem occurs with all the titles of my entries, which have the word ‘Teknófilo’ at the end with no separator.

This window that tells me to help improve their plugin drives me INSANE.

I can’t see what I’m typing, & if I click on it, I lose the page I’m on. Joost de Valk states on his site he won’t take any e-mails re: his plugin which is great, which sounds to me like he doesn’t wish to improve it. Correct me if I’m wrong & yes I know the amount of mail can get to be too much & his plugin is free, but even if I wanted the paid version (I think there is one), I wouldn’t dare pay for a plugin that has this huge issue.
