]]>We are planning to work on a job plugin for wordpress. It will be a quite detailed plugin
The plugin that we are planning to work on is a quite popular Joomla! component which is actively being developed over 2 years. We are currently planning to extend it as WP plugin.
See the screenshot url to have an idea about the plugin. (It’s the admin panel of plugin)
As i mentioned above, We are planning to work on this plugin. The screenshot shows the result of a pre-work.
My question is below
Do you think that WP needs a jobs plugin or not? I’m asking this because WP is mainly a blog software. Does people will need a job plugin for WP?
Admin Panel of plugin will be like https://i53.tinypic.com/214e83n.png
thanks for the all ideas
]]>I’m trying to put together a theme and job site and need to implement a multilingual menu. However, I want all posts to be displayed, so I just went ahead and created two separate installations in their own subdomains, both using the same database. The problem I’m running into is that my Dutch menu is only displayed on the main page, that features the latest posts. When any other job category is selected (from the Dutch site’s menu) the link points to my English site’s archives and categories. What ends up happening then is the English menu gets loaded.
Is there a way for my users to view all jobs and:
1. View a specific job category, such as finance, but to maintain the menu in Dutch, and not have it switch back to English?
I tried to solve this, but failed. Here’s what I did:
1. I created two menus: one in English, and one in Dutch.
2. I created two subfolders, one for each language, each featuring its own wordpress installation.
3. Since I need all jobs displayed, regardless of the job category, I entered in the same database information.
What can I do? Would WordPress MU fix this? I only see two other options, which I don’t like.
1. Create separate databases and installations for each language.
Downside: I would have to manually re-post each job into the other databases.
2. Display all menus on each page. Not exactly asthetic or professional.
Would love some input. Thanks!

– Job Locations
– Employers can register and post jobs
– Job Seekers can search and apply for jobs
I am aware of Blue fur. That is a job ‘board’ but I am after a job site.
