I am trying to find out if it is possible to send new Job Post alerts to all registered users vs. having them set up individual alerts.

The current workflow is for new job postings to go to Admin for review. The “Jobs” page is only shown to certain roles on the website.
Once the new Job is published by the Admin, is it possible for the “Subscriber” user to get an email (Instead of setting up Alerts)?

I do have the Alerts Add-on, and I was hoping there was a way to globally enable alerts for all new postings.

It’s a good plug in but before using it, you should read the thread Indexing API Quickstart from Google (please search it since I can’t add link here):

“The Indexing API allows any site owner to directly notify Google when pages are added or removed. This allows Google to schedule pages for a fresh crawl, which can lead to higher quality user traffic. Currently, the Indexing API can only be used to crawl pages with either JobPosting or BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject. For websites with many short-lived pages like job postings or livestream videos, the Indexing API keeps content fresh in search results because it allows updates to be pushed individually.”

So it’s not made for every business. Do it at your own risk.

I would like to add job posting schema structured data to a job post on my site. When I click the “schema” tab of the Yoast dashboard on my webpage, the dropdown options I see are “web page” “item page” “about page”….etc. There is no Job Posting option – Is that how it’s done or do I need to do something more advanced?

I’ve put a link to the company logo image on the Schme Job posting dashboard, but I checked in the Google Job posting view the company logo image doesn’t appear.

Is there a specific size?

If I leave it blank, can I set the default image for my own web logo, if so where should I put it?

Structured data Job posting multiple locations

Hi,

I’ve used https://technicalseo.com/tools/schema-markup-generator/ and the Code Snippets plugin to add structured data for a job posting over a week ago. However, the job posting still doesn’t appear in the Google results. How is this possible?

Also, the job posting is in multiple locations. On the Google developers platform it only says: “If the job has multiple locations, add multiple jobLocation properties in an array.” but it doesn’t specify in what exact way to write this. I’ve separated the locations with comma’s in between, but I’m getting an error. Does anyone know the right way of writing this? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Job postings are working correctly most of the time but few of our customers complain that they are not able to post their jobs because clicking job submission button just refreshed the page but do not create a job in backend nor it add this item in cart.

I can share this content with you but I do not know what is wrong with this content. It is happening for the last few months. Can you tell me why it is happening and how we can fix this issue.

Job posting schema doesn’t save Employment Type

I am using Rankmath for the last one month and during the initial days, everything was fine. But now, I can see that the Employment Type information is not getting saved as part of the Job schema (Structured Data).
