I have been working on a WordPress Multisite instance for a while now, and recently added the WP Job Manager plugin to help with creating a “vacancy” website. The plugin would allow us to add job listings, which visitors to our website can view and respond to.

I have run into an issue though; adding a job in the admin panel, including the translated variants of it works great. I can view the list of jobs fine, in the primary language (NL), but when changing to the other languages (EN and FR), the spinner keeps on spinning, never loading the jobs. In the browser console, I see an error with the “ajax-filters-min.js?ver=1.31.3” file. “error: Bad Request” it says.

I have scoured the internet for some solutions, including:
– Disabling debugging in wp-config.php
– Disabling all plugins, except WPML and WP Job Manager
– Using the default Twenty… theme

I’ve also tried modifying the permalink settings, WPML settings for translations and even default WordPress Multisite settings.

All of this without much avail.

I have also tried disabling WPML alltogether, which results in the job list being filled with all jobs in all languages, but this is not the expected result.

I can, however, go into the job details in the primary language, and then switch language. The job details is then correctly shown. But, once again, if I go back to the job list on the non-primary languages, there’s the infinite loading and error again.

I would like to ask some assistance with this issue. I’m still working on this issue in a local development environment, so it is not accessible outside my PC.

The site we are currently integrating with has a sidebar that would need to contain a list of the latest so many jobs.

For example the list would be output as follows

Job Title
Location
Salary
Link to job on site

” ”
” ”

If anyone has any idea on how we could go about implementing this that would be great.

I have a wordpress website where i installed the wp job manager plugin and created the job lists and I have a another wordpress website where I have to display the job list of records what I have created in my first website and yes both site is on same server and database is also at the same server and have user permission to acess both database.

example:

Website 1) A 2) B

website A contain job list records

that records I have to list down on website B with full details what ever I wrote on website A

How could I style the list of jobs so one line is white, then grey, then, white, then grey etc.

The
<li>
comes out with a class of “job_listings” but when I try to overwrite it and use ‘:nth-of-type(odd)’ and ‘:nth-of-type(even)’ it does not work.

Any ideas?

when someone goes to a job detail page, it doesn’t look like there is a link back to the main /jobs/ list

might be convenient for job seekers to have a button or something to go back to the main jobs board to do more searching, etc

hmmm, might even be cool to have a collapsed job search form at the top (maybe) of the job detail page for the job seeker to do another search without having to go back to the main job list

My jobs list stopped showing after updating my Striking Multiflex theme to version 1.2.4. Aside from contacting the theme developer, do you have any recommendations from your end? Have other customers had theme-related issues, and how were they resolved?

be ordered by category. I chose that option in the settings of the plugin, but the list is still not ordered by categories. Also, is it possible to have a title with the category name to be displayed avove each list of jobs for that category?
