After doing this I went to connect my jetpack to wordpress and that went fine but connecting the share publicise option gave me this error Error code: -10520

I have tried deactivating my other apps, I have tested my xmlrpc thingy file and it works fine with the single line responding, I have also contacted my host and jetpack for help…

can anyone help? I am so frustrated with this.

I have kept my WPTouch Pro CMS theme updated, and it seems to me the trouble began about the time of the last update a few weeks ago. I have had previous mobile site problems when the overall WPTouch program was updated. (I am also using the latest JetPack and WordPress versions.)

WPTouch support could not find a solution and advised that I apply the following code in my Custom CSS window to force the display of the social media buttons (.inner).

.inner {
display: block !important;
}

The trouble is, the social media buttons now show permanently and no longer pop up and hide when manipulating the Share button like they used to.

Any suggestions?

I’m unable to add a new service. When I click “Create Share Button” the window closing but nothing happens, no new button appears. I tried multiple times and add multiple services. It just doesn’t work. How to resolve it?

It still doesn’t look too great on my site (www.headforpoints.com) because the font I use does not look good when bolded.

I would be grateful for any quick line of CSS which could either:

a) remove the ‘Share this:’ link (WordPress does not allow me to leave the box blank where you can customise the text)

or

b) remove the bolding on the words ‘Share this:’

I’ve seen this posted before and tried to follow the hints in the previous threads but was not successful.

I’m using the Pinboard theme 1.1.2 together with Jetpack 2.5. The Email and Print share buttons do not work. So I reverted to TwentyTwelve to see if it is the theme. Result: It IS the Pinboard theme.

So I tried jQuery Updater Plugin: Did not solve the problem.

So I tried to find locate where the functions are registered and found something in the functions.php:

In the sharing options, neither mail nor the “more” pull-down are working on this blog.

Both work fine on this blog https://www.mymusemoviesmusicandbooks.com, which uses the same theme and nearly identical plugins.

The “more” pulldown merely refreshes the page.

The mail button generates no error, but reports the new URL as https://godbeautyperfectionlove.com/2013/07/14/you-cant-make-an-omelette-without-chopping-a-few-mushrooms/?shared=email&msg=fail

I love Jetpack – it’s great! I just need a bit of help with the ‘Share this’ feature. I have added a new share button for VK, but have made a mistake in the URL. I can’t see how to edit or remove it. Any suggestions? Thanks,

is there anyway to share whatever page you are on (whether it be an album or individual picture)… I have permalinks setup and the canonical link update for my SEO plugin..
