I love Jetpack and have used it for over 7 years now on the sites I work on. I have been encountering some odd occurrences lately.
I enabled the mobile theme and it works great – until it doesn’t. It’s been reverting back to the theme I’m using instead of remaining on the mobile version I’ve enabled in Jetpack. I’ve emptied my caches, but it’s still not working right.
Another issue with the mobile theme I am having is that it isn’t displaying the header image. I have 6 other sites with this same theme (medical group I’m doing work for) and the image shows on some sites but not others, including this site that I’ve left the link to.
Please advise.
Thanks!
Laura
I have set up a multicurrency converter dropdown (with woocommerce booster) just above the “add-to-basket” button. It has the right padding/ margin in the desktop version but in the mobile version (I am using jetpack mobile theme) the dropdown is literally touching the add to basket button, which makes for very bad design.
Using inspect element in the mobile version of the website, I am able to add a margin-botom value and it works great.
element {
margin-bottom: 1em;
}
However, when I then add the below code to the custom css in the customiser, it does not work.
#wcj-currency-select {
margin-bottom: 1em;
}
Can anyone help me please? I don’t know what to write instead of the work “element”. I assume #wcj-currency-select is not the correct thing to write…
Thanks in advance
]]>I’ve been using the Google Adsense Plugin on my site, JunkBanter.com, which has a feature to automatically generate mobile ads and display them in ideal locations. My mobile site is configured simply by enabling the option via Jetpack.
Though the plugin has worked in the past, displaying ads beautifully in my home page header and within content on individuals posts without me having to configure anything, the ads suddenly stopped displaying on my Jetpack-configured mobile site. My ad revenue has fallen off a cliff as a result. I did post this in the Google Adsense plug-in support page, but I was wondering if there is a known compatibility issue with Jetpack and a solution.
When I open the Goodle AdSense plugin settings, it still says:
Ready for Automated Mobile Ads.
Your site was analyzed on 3/1/16, 6:11 PM.
The box has a green checkmark.
The site is also verified in the Webmaster Tools section, and I’ve successfully configured my site in the “Ad Manager” tab.
Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? It’s driving me crazy! I will resolve this or remove the thread if this shouldn’t be asked on the Jetpack support page. I’m desperate at this point.
Thank you!

]]>Is there code I can copy and paste into my site to change the color of the site title in Jetpack mobile only? And where would I put this code? In the “edit CSS” section? I would like to change the color to the same blue as Jetpack mobile uses as their default, if possible. But if not, any color change would do.
I am a beginner, so any help would be much appreciated. My website is www.imaginarybrickwall.com

]]>https://techjourney.net/how-to-insert-show-ads-google-adsense-in-jetpack-mobile-theme-of-wordpress/
This code seems to only allow ads to show up on the top or bottom of the article content on a single post page.
First, can someone provide me the code to place an ad at the very top of my website, and not right on top of my content because that separates my post title from the content which I don’t prefer.
Second, can someone provide me the code to place these ads on all my pages (front page, single post, archive, category) and not only the single post page.
I am a beginner, so an easy copy and paste code like the website above provided that I can put directly into the “edit functions” area of my site would be very helpful. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you. The website is www.imaginarybrickwall.com
]]>I want a black background on the mobile site (but BEHIND the white boxes with black text), so I figured if I uploaded a black custom background to the desktop site this would work just fine on mobile. The black background displays properly on mobile to the full screen, but on mobile it is just a black square at the top of the page and all white underneath it. Probably a really straightforward answer here. Basically I want the black background on the full mobile version. I tried playing around with the “fixed vs. scroll” settings, etc. that are built into the Custom Background Settings on desktop with no luck.
Can anyone help? The website is www.junkbanter.com
I have the custom background turned off for the time being.
