I found a closed/resolved question about this as “how to change ?author=2 in email subscription wordpress” but the thread did not include the solution.

I have a similar issue: link in email returns a 404 but if you use the author nicename it works. I’d like it to go to the homepage or at least to the author page/archive.

I have trying to enable the “Post by E-Mail” functionality of JetPack. But it doesnt work.

What I have done: I have enable The “Post by EMail” function of the JetPack plugin and then I have create a email address “[email protected]” like it was described here: https://jetpack.me/support/post-by-email/#generate-pbe
Then I have send a email to the created address “[email protected]” and I have wait some minutes (> 10 minutes). But nothing happens. The expected post was never added. There is no error message, not in the httpd logs and I have also no error mail received or something else. Whats wrong? Where I can get more error informations?

Jetpack forms not sending

I know this topic is on here many times, but I have yet to see a solution that helps me.

I am running the latest WP and plugins.

All Jetpack Forms tests are failing. No email or Feedback. Have tested on two separate web hosts and it doesn’t work either place.

I have changed themes and still no luck. I have deactivated plugins and still no luck.

Other form plugins work, but the client like the ease and simplicity of Jetpack’s form implementation so, I kinda need to get this to work…

What am I missing? What can I try next?

I have an idea for a new plugin.

I really like the Jetpack email system for people to get my emails but I can’t find a popup with the right behavior.

So I want to make a plugin that upon leaving a website it popup like this. (Clickable)

How hard would it be to make it work with the Jetpack email system?

On my website you can read the the two buttons and I want to have one of them checked automatically…they can uncheck it.
