Cannot access the wordpress via Internet

After setup the fiewall (Redirect 443 to 8443) to connect to our wordpress server, it shows “The site can’t be reached” found in Google. Please advise. Thanks.

Opening links in new tab/window refrains interruption of the content being read, viewed, and/or listened to.

And it is recommended to open new tabs/windows more often than not, e.g. losing reading position, interrupting AI readers, etc. Yes, it is safe to open new tab/window via _blank, additionally, it isn’t black hat, and does not carry pessimistic tendencies, as well as reference for page rank, not talking about uninterrupted SEO of direct traffic. Aforementioned is important because only 4.1 billion people use the internet, about 56.7 of global population, therefore knowing a reference is important.

How can this be remedied, by removing rel=”noreferrer noopener”?

rel=”noreferrer noopener” is added automatically, it is re-added (after being removed) upon saving/publishing.

Is there a code and/or plugin that works and does this?

There are references of code for functions.php and plugins that haven’t been updated in years. Code does not work, and we’re reluctant to use the outdated plugins.

If I want to secure wordpress a bit better, when it is part of a stack serving my website to the internet, should I delete wp-login.php? That way, no one can get in through the remaining WordPress access window, and I can can put a copy of that file in if I need access by means of a server account login.

If I delete wp-login.php (temporarily), will that stop or impact WordPress from working otherwise normally and the same on the inside?

Hi,
The pictures linked on the page are uploaded and visible in the media library but unlike the other posts, they are not displayed online
The featured image is also not visible when the post is being edited. It is unclear what could be the reason as the images have all the same level of authorization in the upload folder.
I have tried to remove the hotlink protection, etc
I recently updated to WP 6.0 and PHP8.1
It is unclear how this would have affected the access rights of these particular images and not the ones from the former post for example

Web pages built using the Elementor Builder do not load animation images and text from Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

Applying gradient effects to the image also does not seem to load all applied effects within the site.

It should be shown on the same screen as Chrome, so I’d appreciate it if you could help me. Thank you.

Connect to WP on RPI from Internet with IP

Hi all,

I am trying to connect to a wordpress blog that is running on a RaspberryPi from the internet. I don’t yet have a domain or a dyndns service. From my admittedly basic understanding of the internet this should be possible regardless. (I understand that as soon as the ISP changes my ip address i have to connect to a new one but this is just a test setup) I have installed a typical lamp stack following one of the many identical tutorials and I can reach the wordpress site from the local network using http:my.local.ip.address

I have configured port forwarding in the router of port 80 to the static local raspberry IP address.
(I think portforwarding works because when I call something like this https://my.global.ip.adress/somemadeupsubdir I get a Not found message generated by the apache server on the raspberry. so the router must have forwarded the request.)

The problem, I think, is that because I do not have a domain, wordpress points to my local ip as WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) i.e https://192.168.x.x

so when i connect from the internet (by typing https://myip.igot.from.myisp), the browser arrives at the router, gets forwarded to the raspberry pi and then tries to load that local ip (192.168.x.x), which is of course is not possible because that computer isn’t in the local network.

I have tried modifying the wp-config.php file in multiple permutations of local and global ip and others and also tried to change etc/hosts file to make an address like site.local point to localhost on the pi and to the global ip on the connecting computer all to no avail. when I connect via the internet it goes looking for that 192.168.x.x address and after a while times out. In the address bar it actually then shows the local ip….

I tried to google this basically the whole day but haven’t found the solution yet. Could it be a weird non standard function of the router or something?

Am I trying to do something impossible or intensely stupid? Does WordPress only work with a registered domain? What am I not getting?
