Date tag input area works in chrome but not internet explorer

I have created a enquiry form that includes the following tags:
name; tel; email; text input and finally date.

The Date input field on the form when viewed and submitted in chrome works perfectly. It has the dd/mm/yyyy in the text field and a drop down arrow on the right for you to choose the correct date, so either options are available.

In internet explorer (I’m using v11) there is no dd/mm/yyyy showing and no little right drop down arrow. I’ve tried inputting the date manually with all sorts of different combinations, with spaces, without spaces, dd and mm the other way round; year first etc. Nothing works, it always refuses to send stating “the date form seems invalid”.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this or get round it? I could make it just a free text box, but as it’s a booking service for a taxi company, they want it to be more accurate than that.

Featured Image will not take up entire width in IE

I just launched a blog using the Magazine Basic layout, and the featured images do not take up the entire width of the blocks on the home page preview in Internet Explorer browsers. It works fine in Chrome and Firefox. (I’d rather keep the featured images big, opposed to making them thumbnail sizes.

Is there an easy solution for this?

Internet Explorer and Side Bar

Sidebar shows up on the bottom instead of on the side when the site is viewed in IE. The button is unchecked for “Uncheck to hide header Title and Description” but the name still shows up in the header when viewed in IE.

Site with Blog Looks Great in All Browsers but Internet Explorer

Hello!

My site is https://www.goldenvalleymn.gov

We created a blog through wordpress to be fed into our homepage of our website (news column on the right side).

When we create a new post, it pops up on the homepage in that newsfeed section, and looks perfect in Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

However, when this same homepage is opened up in Internet Explorer, the only thing showing up is the Newsfeed box with the post we just posted, and everything else on the site is missing.

Please help! Any ideas on how to fix this?

CSS not being read in IE

I am having a problem with most of the CSS not being read in IE. I am using Atahualpa3.6.1. The website is Seizethedaylifecoach.com. In FireFox everything appears fine. This is most noticeable in the navigation bar. In IE it is appearing as a bulleted list but in FireFox it appears correctly. I have changed the capitalization and coloring through the menu 1 options, to test that it is the CSS, and in FireFox the changes relate through but in IE the changes do not show. The other places you can tell this are the placements of images on the bios page and meditation page. I have viewed the page in both IE6 and IE9. both show the same results. I am currently running the style sheet as internal but I would prefer to switch it to external however when I tried that this evening I got the same results I am getting in FireFox that I am getting in IE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi, We’re run into a few probs with our blog in IE and windows.
Warning our site is about Bangkok nightlife and contains raunchy but not adult content – the the code is a bit of a train wreck I’m afraid.

So broswer capture pulls up a stack of errors for IE. we use macs where of course there are no problems

and it seems to show a problem with the way wordpress is coding the titles of posts? using & and =. this I believe we can change using the all in one seo plug in?
Is this causing the IE problem?

CSS Appearing in posts; blog not showing properly in IE

my company runs several blogs. On https://design-bitch.com we’ve been experiencing a weird problem where a bunch of CSS was appearing in posts. This, in turn, was causing the rest of the page to malfunction. No more than one page of the blog was showing. The original theme we were using was “Neoclassical 1.1”, and removed the CSS from the posts. I swapped it out for “WordPress Default 1.6” which seemed to fix the missing content issue. However, in IE and Chrome, the first page of posts isn’t showing up correctly. It all looks fine in Firefox. Anyone have any idea what might be going on? I can include the CSS from the posts if you need it.

Internet Explorer Widget Problems

I am unable to get IE 8 to display the sidebar widgets on my main page. They display on the other pages and posts. I am also having difficulties getting some images to display. I am using the latest version of WordPress and Tarski.

Should I change themes? I love Tarski, but I am not very technically adept so I am interested in as a trouble free a theme as possible.
