Internal Service Error

Every time I log in to update my site, I keep getting an error message that states Internal Service Error. I am thinking it must be related to one of my plugins, but I can’t deactivate them. If I manage to get in every time I hit the deactivate I just get redirected to the Internal Service Error message. I am not tech-savvy at all and all of the fixes I find are too confusing for me to even attempt to follow. Is there anyone from WordPress that can help me by deactivating the plugins that they think may be an issue? I am almost to the point where I think I need to figure out how to delete my site and start from scratch- if this is even possible. Thank you for any help that can be provided.

Hey, I’m so new to all this I basically still smell like a new car or a new born baby. Any time I try and click on one of my blog posts (or if anyone else try’s to for that matter) we are all given a page that says;
“Internal Server Error
This sever encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the sever administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. Additionally, a 500 internal sever error was encountered while trying to use an errordocument to handle the request”

What do I do?! Please speak planely as I have no idea what’s my ass and what’s my elbow in this world but I’m trying to learn.

Accidentally Updated Domain in WordPress Getting 500 Internal Service Error

I wanted to change the domain associated with my one wordpress account. I changed in directly in WordPress under General Settings (Site Address and WordPress Address), which was obviously not the correct way to do it. Now that I have done this, I cannot access my site anymore. I am getting a 500 Internal Service Error.
I use Bluehost and have tried several ways to gain access to my site again without any success. I have review the Changing Site URL Article and have tried both Edit wp-config.php and Edit functions.php. Neither have worked. I have tried to gain access through phpMyAdmin by changing the the domain in wp-options, but that has not worked either.
I have no idea what else I can do to gain access to my site again.

Customize Section, Zerif Pro

I am having lots of issues with my customize tab for my website.

First problem: In the big title section when I was making changes to the section (changing the photo, text and color) it refused to save. I would click ‘save & publish’ it would look like it would work but when I would try to navigate away the site asked if I was sure because I would lose my changes. The changes would never save. I tried shutting my computer off and on, closing out the browser completely and tired it on 2 of our work computers and my ipad (which was on our office wi-fi). The problem wouldn’t fix…

So I went to the theme’s page to see if I needed an update (just in case that was the problem). I clicked the update. I don’t know to which number version. AND NOW….

Second Problem: Whenever I try to click the customize I get the following message:
Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

I tired shutting down my browser, clearing cookies and cashed data and I turned it off and on and tired it on several different computers. No results.

Error When Loading Admin Panel

I can’t get to my WP admin panel anymore, I’m getting the following error.

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Internal Service Error when responding to comments

When I try to respond to comments or approve them through WordPress, I receive an “Internal Service Error” message. I read something about access the FTP server but I have no idea where that is or what it even means. Can someone please help?

500 Internal Service Error

Hi. I was making small edits to the css in the Flexi-Quote Rotator plug-in (that seemed to be working), and lost access to my website with the error named above. I’m not able to access the back end of the website, and from a computer on which I am not logged into the site they get the Error 500 message. How can I resolve this?

Changed Permalinks, 500 Internal Server Error

I’ve searched for this problem but every thread is either too old or didn’t answer my question. I changed the permalinks via the admin panel and after doing so the site itself and the entire admin portion throw a 500 ISE. I looked for the .htaccess file in the root folder (turned on hidden in FileZilla) and none was there. Made both a blank one and one with the standard code to no avail. Really at a loss as to what’s going on.

Site down after upgrade to 4.1.1

My site at mgarchitects-ltd.com has been down since it automatically upgraded to WordPress 4.1.1. I tried restoring it to a snapshot from yesterday, created by our website host, Network Solutions. When that didn’t work, I restored it to February 16th snapshot. That still didn’t work, and I am getting various messages each time I try to refresh the page. This is the most common message I am getting:

500: Internal server error

This error is generated when a script running on the server could not be implemented or permissions are incorrectly assigned for files or directories

Troubleshooting suggestions:

Temporarily disable any rewrite rules by renaming your .htaccess file if it exists.

Ensure that any CGI or Perl scripts have at least .755. permissions.

If trying to run PHP and you get this error, you may have an invalid php.ini in your /cgi-bin, or may be missing your php.dat file in this folder.

Internal Server Error – can't access wp-admin

I am getting the 500 Internal Server Error when I try to log into wp-admin. It will not even go to the page. The website mylincolnchiro.com is working fine, but I cannot change it obviously if I can’t log in.

It happened when I tried to update to 4.1 and it kicked me to the 500 Internal Service Error page. I was able to update to 4.1 through my domain service provider hoping the update would fix the issue, but no luck.

I tried deactivating Plugins through File Manager, deleted .htaccess, and tried a few other tips with no success.

I ran an error log, so hopefully this will help and someone can point me in the right direction:
