When moving the site back after finishing, I got “Internal Error – Site cannot be displayed”, on every page except the Homepage.
I dug in to the .htaccess file and found this line of code causing the whole issue:
/RewriteBase.+/
I switched it back to the old code and everything came back:
RewriteBase /
I couldn’t find any reference to this new /RewriteBase.+/ statement, but I sure didn’t add it so I’m trying to get to the bottom of this so it doesn’t revert back. Any insight would be great, but the main problem has been resolved now.
]]>Since yesterday I’m experiencing troubes with this website. I tried putting back backups and I disabled plugins manualy, but no effect. Hosting cannot help me either.
This is the error log:

]]>also, it is not allowing me to access https://34.106.215.228/wp-admin.
Hosting is done by Google cloud console and they are saying everything ok at their end and have asked me to contact wordpress.
please help me as i am not able to access neither wp-admin nor cpanel.
]]>I am using the latest version of WP – 5.3.2 in multi-site configuration. I am using PHP 7.3, having recently changed to that due to security needs for learnpress I think it was that I added to a subsite a month ago.
I was creating the new subsite linked above, enabled jetpack and got a brief error having trouble connecting to xmlrpc and then the error I titled this topic with. I haven’t seen the xlmrpc error since. I went into my php settings on the server and xmlrpc is enabled. I am not running any caching plugins on this multisite, nor am I running wordfence or an antimalware plugin. I was relying on jetpacks bruteforce protection up until this point and it had done quite well.
My host’s techsupport said to disable all plugins and then try again. I did that, removed some I wasn’t using anymore, but no change. I have the php compatibility checker and it didn’t find anything other than throwing internal 500 server errors itself in a manner very similar to this error from jetpack.
The health check & troubleshooting plugin didn’t find anything other than minor warnings.
I don’t have any real content up on the new subsite yet. Just a booking plugin for appointments. But the jetpack problem is across all subsites in this multisite setup.
]]>There seems to be an issue with the W3Total Cache plugin Version 0.12.0. It has been deactivating by itself and not showing any errors. If I activate it manually, it’s deactivating after 3-5 mins. I have left it deactivated for now
At first, It was causing the website to throw error 500 if I enable Minify.
Please kindly assist
]]>First thing I did, is I did what wasn’t suggestable, and I deleted the core directory of W3 Cache, and it killed access to my updates, and some other core functionality.
Next, I went through to hunt down some possible solutions on Google, and I saw that W3 Cache effects the .htaccess file, so I went through, I removed that. Then I followed this guide to make sure I did everything.:
First, delete all cache and deactivate the W3 Total Cache plugin.
Delete the W3 Total Cache plugin from the Wp-content/plugins folder.
Remove this line from Wp-config file – (define(‘WP_CACHE’, true) )
Delete advanced-cache.php, db.php, wp-total-cache-config.php, and delete the entire w3tc folder from the Wp-content folder.
Check the . htaccess file; if you see any code added by W3 Total Cache, remove it.
And I am still not able to see a majority of my Admin Dashboard, unable to update, install/update/manage plugins.
I’ve also tried uploading fresh contents of the WP-Includes, WP-Content, and WP-Admin folders with the overwrite permission for newer or different versions.
The rest of the site seems to be functional which is good, but unfortunately I am kind of stuck at this point, and getting ready to do a complete overhaul of the site.
Something tells me that the caching of the database would be the culprit at this point.
If you know of anything that I could be missing, please let me know.
]]>Here is the error:
Warning: require_once(model/model-lang.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in …/wp-content/plugins/mailin/sendinblue.php on line 55
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘model/model-lang.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php70/usr/share/pear’) in …/wp-content/plugins/mailin/sendinblue.php on line 55
I deleted the plugin via FTP and my website came back up immediately.
Please push an update with fixed code ASAP.
]]>However, I’m afraid I can’t say the same for version 4.6. Please don’t get me wrong. I love the new features integrated with 4.6 especially the part where the update happens in the same window without having to go through other pages just to install a plugin.
I am getting the Error 500 Messages in this new version in a sporadic manner so there’s no way for me to give out certain steps on replicating the error. One moment the website loads. One moment it doesn’t and the error message is displayed. All the plugins installed are up-to-date. The cookies and browser cache has been cleared multiple times.
Indicated below is the error message I retrieved from the php_errorlog in cPanel. I have no idea if this is related to the issue I’m experiencing.
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filters() in /home/notesilo/public_html/grace/wp-includes/load.php on line 317
I did look into that particular line following that path in file manager and it has something to do with debugging.
The website is: https://mattere.com
It is hosted by SiteGround. The plugins currently in use are:
I started WordPress in version 4.5.1. I’ve never encountered this issue or error in version 4.5.3. I really think that this is a bug since I haven’t done anything different.
While this maybe a good challenge for a developer, for users like myself who primarily rely on WYSIWYG format, I’m at a loss.
Any helpful resolution to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
