I understand software has bugs, at times. What I can not ignore is when customer service blatantly ignores a know problem. They make promises then go silent. It is customer service like this that hurts the open source community – it makes people believe we are all a bunch of basement programmers with not REAL experience.
C’mon Instinct face this issue head-on and say “we do not know the answer” or work on it.

All of the other pages on my site are working fine, all links connect and link back but for some reason the checkout page isn’t working.
Can someone shed some light on this problem?
I have tried changing the permalinks, deactivating and reactivating the plugin, still no luck.
Who’s go an idea?

PS I disabled all of my plugins on the site and then tested the cart and still encountered the issue. I also deactivated all the plugins and switched the site theme and still encountered the issue. After that I also deactivated the custom theme and tried the default theme.

]]>I’m working on a site www.kdesigns.ie
which is in no way finished but i have added the plugin WP shopping cart as there will be product available to buy –
i have added some products and entered in the below short code on the page
[wpsc_products category_id='3' number_per_page='4']
this short code is to only display 4 products and create more pages for the rest – but as you can see here https://kdesigns.ie/?page_id=119
The products just continue down the page
Any idea’s on how to fix or have taken up the wrong meaning for the short code ?
any help would be great
]]>the problem is the PayPal price after a person clicks “Purchase” is different than the total price on my webpage.
Any help- please.

I’ve been working on this for weeks, trying to set up and promote a fund raiser for Haiti… any help would be GREAT! Heres my problem:
I installed the “Instinct” shopping cart on my sight. I have used PayPal to accept donations in the past, but now I am trying to sell things to raise money. On the website everything works great, including the shipping calculations (I am in the US and using UPS shipping). However, after the total has been calculated and the buy hits “purchase” they are transfered to the PayPal page where the shipping has not been added to the base price. I am just using standard PayPal.
I feel like it’s important because I’ll be shipping a number of different weighted items throughout the country (and maybe world). So shipping costs will vary. If anyone one has any ideas or even point me in a direction that would be great. I’m close but it just seems like Instinct is pulling the base price instead of the total.
Here’s my site if it helps:
The World By Sea
Thanks SO much for any help….

1. Create a membership area for people purchasing my products and
2. Download a product that includes multiple files within the download.
Do you know if this product is suitable for this based on your experience? I have checked the Instinct website and could not get answers.
Thank you
Frank
]]>I have been struggling to get this pluggin running on my website and I must say that it COMPLETELY RUINED my store to the point of NO RETURN.
A real NIGHTMARE!!
Is it a problem with the Pluggin or with the last WordPress versions?
This pluggin is clearly not for the average user with basic coding skills. I tried to get support on their forum without success.
It is amazing to count the number of “Unresolved” issues within the so-called Instinct “support forum” that should be called instead “Lack of Support Forum”
Just an example, the Paypal Express Checkout IS clearly not WORKING at all unless you are willing to PAY $200 for the Instinct partners to install it directly on your website.
I literally wasted money on their “Gold cart” and “Grid Module” hoping that the problems would be solved but it was even worse.
DOES ANY OF YOU MANAGED TO GET THIS PLUGGIN TO WORK ON YOUR E-STORES without spending $200?
Any recommendation for another easy and teste pluggin is much appreciated?
Thanks for your feedbacks,
Dorothe angry and frustrated
The problems:
We set up variations to a product (sizes). All for same price. We also set up a quantity discount on that product (buy 2 or more get them all for $5). This is where this plug that supposedly took 4 years to develop fell apart.
It might even be ok if the developers would recognize the issues. But they don’t. There are posts in the forum that date back months asking for help with this flaw with no reply.
Take it as you will. If you don’t need to use discounts & variations then the cart might be fine for you. Otherwise…look elsewhere.
