Crash on Installation

Immediately after installing Ultimate Member (but before activating it), my dashboard and site crash. The error message it gives me is below. Stats: I’m using the latest version of InstantWP, with WordPress 5.3 and PHP 7.1, and I’ve tried uninstalling all other plugins. Any ideas?

install hangs on step 3 in instantWP

I am trying to migrate a website to https://127.0.0.1:10080/wordpress/. I get to step 3 on the install, and I never get the Next button. The installer also won’t ‘get’ the URL and I don’t have an install.log.

Hello, I try to install the InstantWP template since a few day now.

I just want to have the same result as in the demo (https://gentsthemes.com/demo/instantwp/ ) but i can’t !!!

My WordPress seems to stay to the blog template and not the portfolio template. I have configured the options like in the documentation (portfolio enabled, home content disabled) but it doesn’t work).

I have found 2 others website where it works ! https://www.remibargier.com/ and https://www.bollingtonrun.co.uk/ I have found a difference in the source code : at the end, there is a “BLOG CONTENT” comment where it’s called “PORTFOLIO SECTION” in the other website.

How can i activate this? i have re-install my template 2 times.

Please help me, this template is just perfect for me.

[Plugin: BuddyPress] BuddyPress compatibility issue

I’m running a private organisational intranet and until the week before last all was working perfectly. I have Gravity Forms and Gravity Flow installed, as well as BuddyPress. The issue I’m having is that when BuddyPress is active, the page with the Gravity Flow Workflow Status shortcode stops working: the page only shows the header bar of the status table, and the menu and primary header do not display on that one page at all.

I’ve changed the theme from a child theme of Optimizer to Divi which I thought may resolve the issue, but it has not. I have recreated the site on InstantWP, included all plugins currently installed on the live site and set them to the same status (active/inactive), and have done the same with the theme (all other themes have been deleted on the live site as well as on InstantWP). The recreated site is working perfectly on InstantWP.

It isn’t an option to leave BuddyPress deactivated as the users are heavily involved in the Groups element; I haven’t yet found an alternative that facilitates groups and/or lets me export/import from BuddyPress to a new plugin so they don’t lose their data.

Suggestions?

Historical plugin and theme data causing problems?

I believe the problem has started after testing some new calendar plugins for resource management (note: I understand the Timely All-In-One Event Calendar can cause some serious problems and it was one of the plugins tested) the page with the Gravity Flow Workflow Status shortcode has developed issues: the shortcode only shows the header bar of the status table now, unless I deactivate BuddyPress (not an option to leave it deactivated), and the menu and primary header do not display on that one page at all. File size too big

I am trying to ‘upload’ the zip file to WordPress, but it says that the file size is too large.
I am getting this message: “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.”
What can I do? I am ‘hosting’ my site locally on my computer with InstantWP.

instantWP Database error

Hi community
I’ve installed instantWP_4.5 on a Windows 10 laptop and I got the correct page on 127.0.0.1:4001/instantwp/index.php, but when I tried to click on the WordPress Admin button I got the message
Error establishing a database connection.
Can anybody please tell me what I have to do?

I figured out that I have to change the line in ‘homepage-portfolio.php’ file, but I can’t figure out how to do it.
