Why is my WordPress not installing?

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue when trying to install WordPress on my server. I have followed the installation steps carefully, but every time I attempt to proceed with the installation, it either gets stuck at the setup screen or shows an error message.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Downloaded the latest version of WordPress from the official website.
Uploaded it to my hosting server via FTP.
Created a database and user with the correct permissions.
Updated my wp-config.php file with the necessary database details.
Attempted installation via the WordPress setup page.

Despite these steps, I’m still unable to complete the installation. I’ve checked the server logs and everything seems fine on the hosting end, with no clear error messages showing.

Could someone help me understand what might be going wrong, or suggest additional steps to troubleshoot this issue?

Troubleshooting: Colibri Plug-in Not Appearing

Setting up the Colibri plug-in for Website 1 and upgrading to the PRO version that came with coverage for five websites was a smooth process without any issues. However, when I installed and activated the Colibri plug-in for Website 2, nothing happened. Although it shows that the plug-in is active, it doesn’t appear on the WordPress dashboard or the header. I tried deactivating all other plug-in in the hopes of getting the Colibri plug-in to work, but unfortunately, it didn’t solve the problem. Additionally, I’m unable to access the plug-in for Website 2 and add the license key to get the PRO version installed. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.

Duplicator timing out on install

We have been wrestling with Duplicator installs on a new hosting provider. As far as we know the plan should be comparable to the old host. But they are saying it demands more resources than the plan provides. However now the install attempts time out every single time. Our memory limit was increased to 2 gigs this last time and it still wasn’t enough. The hosting provider still had to go in themselves, extract and install the database manually.

Is duplicator now demanding more resources to run? This has happened on several migrations for us now. We’ve never had this problem before. Creating the package was occasionally a problem, but never ever have we had an issue with the installer itself.

Plugin Not installing

I have your plugin installed on all my sites. However, on one of my recently created sites it is not showing up in the WP sidebar. I have everything up to date. I’ve even disabled all my plugins and nothing. I also installed a fresh copy and it’s still not there. Do you know what’s going on?

Trying to make a sticky menu using a plugin that I read about in an ET Blog article. Really need this to work by Monday EST mid-day or when ever. The yellow full width menu down the page has the CSS ID of #sticky-nav and the selector in the plugin is #sticky-nav. Tried the CSS ID as just sticky-nav. Won’t stick to top under main nav. Do you see that I have it set up incorrectly? I’m pretty good at configuring and would not bother you until I have exhausted all avenues. I’m there. Thanks. De bugging is on. This is sitting on a GO Daddy server in Staging mode. Will that affect the plugin performance?

No Ability to Change Settings

I installed this plugin on my website and then proceeded to activate it. After activation, I was never prompted to enter a phone number. On my Installed Plugins section of WordPress admin, I see the Call Me Now plugin listed, but the only option is “Deactivate”. I don’t see a settings option. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin with no change. Please help, thanks.

fatal error after installing simple event calendar

I recently took over the website, and instead of writing out all of our events, I wanted to use a calendar app. Within seconds of installing the plugin, I received the following error message:

Am completely locked out of the website now.
