I think I said it all in the title. I couldn’t upload the theme as it was missing a styles.css. I checked the files and can confirm that there isn’t one. I guess I could add a blank one, but then I could just create a child theme myself if I wanted to start creating files.

I’m trying to install UpdraftPlus: WordPress Backup & Migration Plugin to my WordPress website and am getting the following error: Installation failed: Could not copy file. updraftplus/includes/tether/tether.min.js

I’ve also tried going to the Updraft page and downloading the plugin, the installing through an upload of the zip file. Neither one is working. I have no problem installing other plugins. Please help!

I currently have FileBird Pro 6.1.1

My WP installation shows that I can update to v6..1.2. But with ‘update now’ I get an error “Update failed: the package could not be installed’ .

If I click on ‘View version 6.1.2. details then I get an popup with the message ‘Plugin not found’

If I download filebird from my account at https://codecanyon.net/downloads to install manually, it downloads v6.1.1

How to proceed?

Hello

I have WordPress 6.4.3 and PHP 8.2. When searching for the plugin, the information says it is compatible with my version of WordPress but when I tried to install it, it would not install, even when I had already installed the recommended WordPress Download Monitor plugin I am not using Contact Form 7 as I already have a different contact form from WPForms and the information said “and/or” so I took the “or” option. The error upon installing says “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.”. Can someone assist?

Blank page or error message when activating, installing, or deleting plugins

Hello kind people! I’m having a bad time with plugins. When I try to do anything with plugins (search, install, activate, deactivate, delete etc.), nothing happens. For example, when I try to activate a plugin, I just get a blank white screen. For an attempt to delete, the text switches to ‘deleting…’, but then nothing happens. For installations, it usually says ‘installation failed.’ Usually, after a page refresh, I’ll find that the plugin did in fact install fine. But I can’t seem to delete anything. I’m slightly nervous that I caused this problem by poking around in the functions.php file (attempting to add Facebook pixel), but I’m pretty sure it was happening before that anyway. Actually, when I tried to do that it said the file update had failed anyway. Sorry, I have no web development knowledge whatsoever, so I’m a little unsure what information I need to provide here to help get this resolved. All and any guidance will be hugely appreciated!!

When trying to update WP from 6.0 to 6.2 from within the control panel I get the following error, does anyone know what might be the problem? The server php version is 7.4.33.

I’ve been trying to install Jetpack for a few days, but each time I click the button “Install now” after a few seconds a message pops up:

“Installazione fallita: Impossibile copiare il file. jetpack/modules/custom-css/custom-css/js/core-customizer-css.core-4.9.js”

Is the problem my website or is it the plugin?
