I’ve never used wordpress before and I rather stupidly got some Indian developers to build me a wordpress site and realised when I was testing it that it was all hardcoded…
I couldn’t create a new bit of content in teh wysiwyg editor, add an image, align it etc and have it display correctly on the front end without them getting involved to wrap every line within the editor in <div>s and all sorts of other rubbish.
So I want to ditch what they have done and just use a commercial theme off the shelf so that I have more flexibility and can create content on the fly.
It’s a small business website by the way, not a blog.
Before I try and install a new theme I have no idea what the developers may have changed/add/deleted and I’m worried that if I just go ahead I’ll make a huge mess of it.
Am I right, or will the installation of a new theme wipe the rubbish from the old theme?
Thanks
