Can’t insert banner picture in top of template. I go to library, select picture, and only have a “copy link” option. If I paste the link into the template it appears only as the link and not the picture.

LInk instead of picture

If I add a picture to a page by clicking “Add media” and then choosimg “insert from URL”, whatever I do I only get a link to the picture, not the picture itself.

For example the link to mysite/mypicture.jpg results in
Picture Title

instead of

(or something similar, the point is I need the ‘img src=’ bit.)

I’m sure I’ve done this before without having to change the HTML. Maybe I’ve forgotten how – any advice gratefully recieived

Hi, I am working with wordpress 3.05 Unfortunately I can′t insert any image in my posts. I can upload them but when it comes to actually insert them the process fails (blank popUP). A strange detail: Everything I upload ends up in the “Galery”. But even from there I can′t insert it into the post.

Issues with 3.0

I’ve come across a couple of issues with 3.0. The main ones that I think have to do with wordpress itself are:

1. I can’t upload a new photo – technically, when I click to add an imagine, the upload screen loads up in the same window, instead of a hover. I can upload the photo, I just can’t insert it as doing so times out the site.

2. I thought maybe re-installing it would fix, but I can’t find the upgrade link under tools. Is it supposed to be there?

When I try to insert a picture, it uploads it but when I click on “insert in the post”, it foes to a white page and nothing happens.
Also, I can’t enter tags anymore!!

I am not able to view the fonts toolbar.
Thus I am not able to bold the words.

I am not able to insert picture too.

I had installed WordPress 2.7
Running on both Firefox3.07 & IE7 Browser.

Please advise.
