I use the latest versions of WordPress, Yoast SEO and twenty twelve theme. In this theme I have the ability to provide a title and description for each category in the search engines and a separate text for showing on the website.
The title and description are not properly indexed by Google. Of the 277 categories, only three have been indexed and the breadcrumbs of these three categories are displayed differently. See: site:www.razenberg.nl/categorie
The three indexed categories each point to the correct visitor page. You also see at the top of each page the text I wrote for the visitors.
However, you don't see the correct breadcrumb trail. Something seems to be wrong there. In addition, relatively few categories are indexed. Is there a solution for these two problems?
(The website exists almost twenty years and almost 1000 posts have been indexed by Google.).

The sitemap was submitted in Google Search Console but under ‘Coverage’ it states – “Indexed, not submitted in sitemap”.
I don’t know why this is the case. Can you please offer some guidance?
Thanks

Hi Sharen,
Thanks for your email! We understand you're concerned with some pages on your website being blocked by robots.txt yet indexed in Google.
We see that all the links mentioned in the report have URLs that include '?share=twitter', '?share=facebook'. Since these URLs do not appear in the sitemaps, this does not appear to be related to Yoast SEO or the sitemaps you've submitted to Google. We checked the robots.txt file, but there are no rules that block search engine access to those URLs. Could you give us more details about how you're restricting these URLs?
The links may be included in your content or could be generated by another plugin installed on your site or your theme. Do you have any active social share plugins that are adding links with these parameters? It seems you have a Jetpack plugin installed. If so, the plugin may provide another way to prevent search engines from attempting to index those URLs.
ME: I am not restricting these URLs. Please tell me if I need to add code to my robots.txt file in my Yoast settings. If there is a conflict with your plugin, please help resolve that issue.
]]>Everything works fine for several years.
But recently, the blackhole page is indexed by Google.
What should I do? Thank you very much.
]]>how do I prevent that /ni-order-status/shipped and so on gets indexed? Why is it indexed in the first place?
Regards
]]>I see I have all my plugins set to indexed: https://snipboard.io/gRNQWX.jpg
Is there a way to not have these indexed? Will this cause any issue with my site?
Best,
Chris
I am currently using Yoast SEO for my sitemap. After editing and redirecting one of the URLs/pages, it does not show up in my sitemap anymore. Which is strange, since I haven’t no-indexed it. Other pages have been updated in the same way, and there everything is fine.
In Google Console it shows up as “indexed, no submitted to sitemap”. And still the page is ranking well in Google. Why is this? And how to add the specific URL to my sitemap? Will changes affect my SEO-ranking?
I am using the advanced box in the Yoast SEO-plugin for this.
Looking forward to hear from you.
