Username of inactive user gets changed to “Comeback” when email is sent

Hello

I tested out your plugin. The email sends well, it is great. But I noticed that the user’s username is changed to “Comeback” when the allotted time of inactivity is reached. This is pretty bad since if they try to log in again with their original username, it won’t work anymore. Also when new emails are sent to them after the email change, the name in the email also changes from “Hi John” to “Hi Comeback”. Can you fix this?

As the site ages we have many profiles for people that most likely will never use the site again but we don’t want to delete their data. The problem is that their names show in the list when assigning courses, etc. As you can imagine, the list can get quite long if filled with inactive users. How can we display only desired users. Currently we have a different “role” for inactive users so if we could specify the appropriate role(s) that the system should use, we would be all set

I have this excellent looking plug in ‘inactive user deleter’ but I’m struggling to figure out what best flags and filters to apply.

Simply not logging in and not posting doesn’t necessarily mean they’re any kind of problem, does it? They could be quite good persons who only view, never post.

They’re all ‘active’ meaning they’ve done the email register thing: they’ve replied to the email.

I suppose you could say they’re not doing me any harm so why worry? But I’ve had the list grow to the thousands and all spurious, quite clearly.

Anyone else use this plugin? Can recommend settings?

A closely related thing: I would like to require of new registrants that they email me with an email of their own composition. That’s how I would like to do it. And I thought perhaps I could edit the automatic registration email but I can’t find how to do that.

Any help on implementing that ‘feature’ would be much appreciated.

Great but I have a question reguarding inactive users

The plugin is great.
I installed it to delete all my inactive users (users who have not logged in over 12 months).
But in order to find those users I have to install the plugin WP Last Login.
But this plugin only counts all logins after the day of the installation.
So it does not really make sense to find the “sleeping Users”.

Is there another, better way to find all the inactive users?

Critical errors

Hi, I recently found I was getting critical errors when I published listings on my site. I asked my theme’s author for help and he asked for WPAdmin and FTP access I set ac/n account up for him but then found all admin accounts were listed as inactive. I turned off wordfence and everything worked again. I would like to use wordfence but need this fixed in order to use it. Can anyone help please ?

How easy would it be to change it to not delete the users but more them as subscriber or contributor? That way I can keep them there for a while and see if any want to log back in. I have over 8000 users so I needs something like this to be automated.

I’ve checked out their wordpress blog and it’s not active since 2009.

I’ve seen this question posted a few times in the forum but never answered. Is there a way to remove users who have not logged in for a few months? How about ones who have never posted a comment.

I looked around, albeit probably not as much as I should’ve, for a WordPress User Management plugin. Namely a way to trim the inactive users who’ve not logged in for a while. Is there already a plugin that does this that I just don’t know about? If not, can someone maybe create one?
