Failed to import NOVO theme demo data (Error 500)

When trying to import the demo files of the NOVO theme via the OCDI plugin the import fails immediately. I already followed the instructions on the support page, increased the values in the PHP config and added the recommended lines in the functions.php of the theme. The debug file looks as follows:

Import Failed, Error: error (500)

I get the 500 error.

It happens very quickly in the process (after less than half a minute).

Details: The content gets imported but media doesn’t. As if the process breaks on media.

The “cheap hosting” in the documentation isn’t helpful as I’m not on a cheap hosting (tested on localhost and two separate hostings I’ve used for years), I’ve used OCDI before and had no issues (other than the yellow warning for empty strings on previous plugin versions) and the demo data itself is relatively small test data with 4 pages, 4 posts and 12 products.

When I try WordPress’s own Import tool to import media it works fine.

Several repeated demo import attempts fail almost instantly (as if it flies over the already imported content, hits the media phase and fails).

Import problems “invalid date”

This is regarding the free plugin Order Export & Order Import for Woocommerce.

I had exported several files as I had to bulk update some information.

When I imported said file again, half of the orders were skipped because of an invalid date (I never changed anything in that column) and others were imported with a date of e.g. October 2024!

Now all my orders are messed up and the dates are wrong.

I need to fix this as soon as possible, please!

Moving my coaching site to it’s own domain and wordpress installation. I thought I imported the events for My Calendar, and a repeated attempt claims they are all there, but they aren’t showing up in the event list on the backend or the calendar on the front end. I am not using a caching plugin for this site.

Hello, I’m testing if I can intall this theme and use wordpress in a Windows webhosting. I’m trying to import the free demo and it keeps failing. I visited the link https://docs.themegrill.com/knowledgebase/demo-import-process-failed/ and configurated as it says, but still failed.
Could you give me some clue of whats wrong?

Hi I am using the zeever template. I am trying to add the pre-made blog page from the gutenverse library as a new page and I am getting an error ‘import failed, please try again’ .Any help would be great .

Hello,

I’ve tried multiple times to import all my reviews in the Advanced Tab. When I press the Process Button, it shows Found 167 new reviews. When I press Import, I go back to the Advanced tab and I get the alert message : No reviews imported

Any Ideas for me ?

import from a WordPress export file (WXR) into a WordPress blog failed

Import from a WordPress.com export file (WXR) into a www.remarpro.com blog failed. What I did:

created an export file on wordpress.com
downloaded the file on my computer
went to the admin in my new www.remarpro.com site
run import and answered all questions with it
selected the file to import

Nothing happened except a white screen!
I tried this again, but even after 12 hours waiting nothing was imported. Nothing of my old pages and posts.
I asked my host for help, but they couldn’t help me.
How can I solve this? Try another plugin?
