Thanks!
]]>Thanks for amazing plugin! I used it to migrate from HyperComments (disqus-clone) back to WordPress native comments. I have only problem with Custom Post Types.
I have special post types called “news”, and I want to import comments for this post types. Posts in this CPT has ID’s, which reachable by mybloc.com/?p=XXXX link, but your plugin can’t see them and return “This Post Does Not Exits” error.
How can I fix it? Maybe manually? Thanks!
]]>I looked everywhere and can’t find any mention of importing comments using WP “ALL” Import.
I would have expected importing comments to be an option somewhere, or to at least find some info on how to do it. So that makes me think this plugin is not capable of importing comments, which seems strange.
Thank you for any feedback and support.
]]>This is a great plugin and we’re succesfully importing comments from our Facbeook page into the WordPress site. However, is there a way to import the Facebook fan page post comments directly into the Facebook social plugin? Does the premium version have this? If this plugin doesn’t have this feature, do you know of other applications that can do this?
Many thanks.

]]>I use NLposts succesfully for importing posts to my main, but i also want to use it to import comments into the right content.
That would be ideal!
Thanks in advance!

]]>What I would *like* to do is associate the author of each comment imported from LiveJournal with a new user account in WordPress so they can continue to view those Friends Only posts and track their old conversations as well.
For example:
If Tom, Anna, and Joe all commented on my LiveJournal posts, when I import my LiveJournal posts I’d like user accounts created for each of them and to have those user accounts automatically associated with their imported comments.
Is there a simple way to do this? Or am I limited to creating the user accounts separately and editing comments on the back-end through SQL to associate them to the user accounts?
Thanks!
]]>I know importing with RSS will not take comments with it, but I’m wondering if someone knows some kind of way to import the comments as well. Does someone?

]]>The import comments from Facebook to WordPress is not working at all.
I see there are previous comment about the new version fixing this problem. But this is not true for me. Facebook comments were being imported perfectly until I upgraded to this version 2.7.17
I un-installed and re-installed twice via the WorPress plugin interface. When that did not work I downloaded and installed via FTP. Still no luck.
When I click the manual Import Comments button on the post, the cogwheel just hangs on “Sending update to Facebook”

]]>I run a online magazine and we’re using WPBook to publish articles to MY wall and our FAN PAGE wall. Which works fine and the comments are imported nicely (- and we’ve even managed to fetch our commenters respective Facebook avatars instead of using the standard Gravatar ones.)
Anyway. Since I’m not the only editor at the website, in fact, there’s three of us, I wonder if there’s any way for us to publish our articles not only to MY wall and our FAN PAGE wall, but also to the walls belonging to our two other editors + importing the comments made?
In WPBook I’m only allowed to setup publishing to one account so I don’t really know how to get around it. I’ve asked Google for a solution without any luck. RSS feeds and such is not a solution since that wont import the posted comments.
So, any suggestions? I’d appreciate it. Would mean a lot for our magazine.
