Part of homepage slider appears on the blog page under the blog post list

Hi,

I have just installed Maskitto Light theme which I love by the way! I am just getting to grips with it, however I have noticed that the homepage slider image I have added https://www.urbanreiver.co.uk/ is also appearing on my blog page https://www.urbanreiver.co.uk/design-blog-and-news/ . It’s on the right hand side, under the blog post list, but there is just a section of it showing – very strange. Any ideas on how to remove this?

Displaying External Images using API

Hi,

I want to display a section containing thumbnails of photos dynamically fetched from Dreamstime, using their API, like this site, https://qvectors.net/ .

As you can see there’s a section called “Royalty Free Stock Vector From Dreamstime” and which displays images from Dreamstime, so I want to implement this feature in my blog.

Can anyone help? Is there a plugin for this?

How about cropped images?

I run a website for a fine artist and first of all this plugin is great! I use it to display thumbnails of his artwork in retina quality and I love the results.

With one of my custom sized portfolio thumbnails I used another plugin to re-crop the image. Unfortunately the retina version isn’t cropped the same way. I think I have no chance to access the x2 image with the other plugin to get the right image section on display.

So I guess the only chance is to manually upload a cropped version and name it with “@2x”. Or am I missing something?

Here I go again with wuestions lol.

So this was one of thsoe things that I thought would be pretty damn easy to do. but apparently not.

On the top of the main page, under the header I want to add text/box that says “Image Section” , That I know how to do, Just add a menu.

But when Someone click on that, I want them to be taken to a page which looks like that main page with the same ammounts of posts per page etc but this time its only images. So The main pages has 8 new videos per day. And when you click on “images section” you go to a page with 8 new images per day.

How do I do this? I have tried, and looked around but no luck. I thought it was going to be super easy. But no, and I have no idea why.
