jobify hero sliders shortcodes

I’m using jobify theme, running wp job manager plugin.
by default my home page is constructed of widgets.
I installed the plugin ” Widget-shortcode” , which allows me to generate a shortcode from the widgets i have in mind to create my slider.

I have created the slider i want. 2 slides, using the shortcode generated by the hero widgets from jobify.
And that works…
However, when I hide the visibility of the hero widgets it affects the new slider created.

I was hoping to discuss via email and possibly grant access to my admin for review.

Image distortion on phone

Site looks fine on desktop but when viewed portrait mode on phone the images get distorted. They are a better in landscape view but still distorted. When the image is clicked on, it is proportional. Any advice on how to fix? The developer of the them – Ocean themes – suggested using smaller images on the site but then we are disappointing our desktop viewers. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Featured Image is distorted with SiteOrigin Post Carousel

Hi Anthony,

First of all, thanks for your awesome theme! I am a total beginner and still have a lot of struggles but slowly getting better.

I have recently improved my static homepage with the SiteOrigin Page Builder plug in. Everything looks good except the SiteOrigin Post Carousel. It only shows thumbnail images when a post has a featured image. Some of my posts do, and some don’t. I can of course delete one of the regular post images and make it a featured image. So far so good.

But the real bummer is that the featured images that i sized to have the same width as the single page template with landscape dimensions, appear totally distorted (squished) in the thumbnails of the Post Carousel.

Since Quark is responsive, what size should featured images be? Or what else can I do to make sure they look correct in the SiteOrigin Post Carousel thumbnails?

Image distortion using portfolios

Hi, I am using the Argent theme and trying to set up projects using the portfolio system.
Each project will have a number of images associated with it (I am an illustrator). These images are all different sizes and I would like to keep them that way. However, when it shows the images, they are all distorted. I have set them up in a gallery so that they appear at the top of the project description but I don’t know how to prevent the distortion.

Are you aware that all your images in your demo that are in landscape orientation get distorted when clicked on and viewed in a mobile device (iPhone 6S plus) in portrait orientation? If I rotate my phone to landscape it looks fine.

Instead of the image resizing responsively it looks like the images are being squeezed to fit.

Main Image as Thumbnail

I would like to alter the code so the main image is a thumbnail in the blocks/toggle view. This will allow users to view the full image in the lightbox when clicking on the image while also providing a preview of the image as a thumbnail as the main image. When adding an image on a post regularly, there’s the option for inserting the image in different sizes (i.e. thumbnail, medium, large). This crops the image rather than distorting it. I would like to select the thumbnail view for the main image, cropping it, rather than having the image distorted.

Hello, I am using the latest version of WordPress and your plugin. In general it works fine, but I have a problem and I don’t know how to fix it. As you can see here:

there is the gallery below the text. Now, the second and fourth image for example are completely distorted when opened in Lightbox. How do I fix this?

Image distortion

I am having the blurry image problem for some areas of Woocommerce.

My category images display blurry and are 90×90 which is what the product thumbnails are set to.
My related product images are also blurry. They appear to display at 300×300 which is what the single product image is set to.

I have read several posts and tried adding code to my child theme css and my woocommerce css, but nothing has worked.

Please help. Also, if there is a way to adjust the number of related products that are displayed, I would be interested in that info as well.

Stretched image on initial page

I created a new post with one thumbnail image aligned left at the beginning of the post, then added additional images placed them at the end of the post. I published it, then went to view site. It appears fine in the sidebar, but in the main content column it is a very distorted, stretched image that takes up most of the screen, and not the image I placed at the beginning of the post. I am VERY new to blogging so I’m guessing I have some setting messed up, but I don’t know what. I am using Genesis/Pretty Young Child Theme. It is the Cake Pops post on redrobinsblog.com
