Basic Law theme display issues in IE8

The header is not displaying correctly in IE8, but is correct in other IE versions, Firefox, etc.

Hi everyone,

I am working on this site:

It will everywhere BUT in IE8. It freezes and loops indefinitely. But once I disable Javascript it loads even though my carousel will not work anymore of course… I believe IE8 is outdated and as such cannot handle my code well either CSS, Javascript or a mix of both.

I need to find a way to accommodate IE8 users so they don’t get a blank page when they visit the site.

Can someone be specific as to how what, where and what code I must edit, add or delete in order to reach this objective?

Layout issues in Internet Explorer

I’m a middle of the road wordpress guy (At best) and I’ve had this issue before, I solved it in few days. NOW? its been a week and I’ve aged badly because of it…

Site I’m working on is fine in all other browsers except IE 8. I’ve moved the “Doctype” inserted the usual code between head tags and attempted to move things around within the style sheet. All to no avail.

I’ve also removed the radius corners of the theme (Preference Lite) in the style sheet for the IE specific css. It moves the site up but the sidebar and centering of the post is still buggered up…

I’m at the point of BEGGING for help here guys. Help a redneck out will ya?

IE 8 displays Parent settings ignores Child Theme CSS and PHP

Hello there, long time reader first time poster.

I have created a child theme and been making changes to the site on a design and post basis after initial design using Bitnami.
The site is. www.taoshen-healing.com this is my first time using twenty twelve, and i would be looking to import a number of sites from twenty eleven once I am happy with this new style.

My problem is that I have made all my changes and i have been checking the progress along on Chrome and Firefox web browsers, totally forgetting to check IE browsers. unfortunately most of the CSS and PHP code of the child theme is been ignored by IE8 (Im not really too fussed on IE7) could someone please look the code over and point out for my a patch or code to make IE8 accept the code just as Chrome and Firefox.

Problems with feature boxes appearing incorrectly in IE 8

Can anyone help. On my website I have 3 feature boxes at teh bottom of teh home page, for some reason these have suddenly started to appear incorrectly, the third feature box is appearing in the second feature box. Its fine in Crome and Firefox but not IE8. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

I thought (for many months) that my blog’s working just fine. But now someone questions me concerning this. I checked, and I realized it really is not working on IE8. Does anyone here knows why it is so??
