Just a quick lead-up…I’m two months in to an IT admin job at a city library. The previous tech treated the place like is own personal playground so the clean-up has been time consuming. I’m not a website guy at all so I’m hoping to get a bit of help here.
The old version of WordPress we use notwithstanding…..The library had a company create the website about 5 years ago…. www.urbandalelibrary.org. If you click on any of the links at the top (Using the Library, Materials Search, etc) you’ll see that the left sidebar background doesn’t show at all in IE 11 but does work in IE 9, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and even Project Spartan. It looks like there is an ie.css file that loads when using IE so I’m guessing something in there needs to change.
I’d appreciate any help at all.

]]>This blog design has always worked in all browsers just fine. Without changing anything at all, it suddenly stopped showing up most of the time in IE. If it does, there is a problem with the sidebar and the footer is missing. I’ve checked validation and there is nothing that would be causing this. Can you please take a look?

It looks great in FF!
]]>1.Open my blog in IE or IE-based browser (works fine in Ff).
2. Look at my blog. (If nothing is wrong, don’t maximise your window and look what happens.)
The blog-start drops down to the END of the side-bar.
What’s the deal there??
