]]>When we create a new post and enter some text, internet explorer (newest!) freezes. We aren’t able to do anything. It’s blocked and we can only end it if we use the task manager.
The Debug Console doesn’t throw an error.

The results differ by:
- browser
- whether or not I set the intro video to autoplay and
- specific play back system.
More detail:
Chrome Version 34.0.1847.131 m: Works quite well. Previous video stops playing when starting the next video.
Firefox v 28.0:
No Autoplay: Works great. Previous video stops playing when selecting another tab.
Intro Set to Autoplay: Requires viewer to stop playing previous video manually before selecting next video or two or more will play simultaneously.
IE v11: Fails
Machine #1: Intro displays as it should. No video image displayed in other tabs. Audio will play if I click play button blindly on player.
Machine #2: IE locks up when displaying page.
If I deactivate Shortcodes Ultimate: Auto-play On: Machine #1: IE Crashes on Page display. Also crashes Windows.
If I deactivate Shortcodes Ultimate: Auto-play Off: Machine #1: Displays some video thumbnails but not others. No pattern noticeable.
To confirm the problem is with Shortcodes Ultimate, I created a new page where I laid out an assortment of the same embed codes without using Shortcodes Ultimate and had no problem with display or crashing.
Questions:
Primary Importance: Can you tell me what problem I may be encountering with IE and how to fix it? Have others encountered this same or similar problem?
Secondary Importance: Ideally, I’d like the intro to auto-play and the previous video to stop playing when selecting a new tab. Can you provide assistance to accomplish this when using Chrome and Firefox?

]]>I installed this plugin on our online conveyancing site (still in development so don’t rely on the content as yet) www.BestValueConveyancing.co.uk and it seems to crash the site.
It works ok on Firefox and Chrome, but seems to crash all versions of Internet Explorer. IE tries to recover the page and then usually gives up.
With the plugin deactivated the sites work fine again.
