User ID from Registration

My Business Logic involves Referral— where I expect people to refer other people to buy from me, then I offer 15% Commission of the deal to the person who referred client to me.

To get this Logic to work, I need to generate a Unique Identification Number for each person who registers on my website.

This problem has been raised in Stack Exchange in about 10 Years ago, as can be seen here:

1a) I need the same thing. Is this possible with ARMember Registration Form?

1b.) If not possible, can you Please help me with PHP Code Snippets that can make it possible?

2.) When the Unique ID of each member is generated, I will like to display it on the User’s Profile Page.

Form ID / deleted forms

Hi, during modification of the webpage I deleted a number of cff forms. I left only 3 forms, number 1, 2 and 3. Now, if I add a new form its ID is bigger than IDs of all deleted forms.
Does it means that deleted forms are still kept? Is there any way to delete them completely? What is the maximum form ID? Could I assign a specific ID to choosen form?

Duplicate [wp_cart_id] prevents sale from showing up in Cart Orders list

Hi–thanks for a great and simple plugin! We have had the following issue a few times (twice very recently): the ID issued automatically to each sale (I presume) by WP Simple Cart accidentally got used simultaneously for two different sales (within about an hour of each other), and as a result one did not show up in the Cart Orders on our site dashboard. We got email notices of the sale, and it went through Paypal fine, but only looking through the Log File ( ipn_handle_debug.txt ) allowed me to see that.

Is there any way of preventing this in future? It has really messed us up a few times, because I compile a list of workshop participants using the Cart Orders list to tell me who has registered.

Thanks for any tips on how to stop the duplication of the ID numbers (or eliminate ID numbers altogether; we don’t really use them systematically).

How Do I Change the Photo ID Number Sequence

I want to change the sequence of the photo ID numbers. As I’m building a gallery I had to delete a bunch of pictures and there is a large gap in the numbers, because when I upload new images they just keep numbering from the highest one which I had deleted. I think this has to be done in the database, in the nggpictures table.

There is a column for “pid” and it is set to auto increment, but when I enter a new default value it says incorrect value for default, and I can’t turn off auto increment. I want to enter my own starting number for the next uploaded image.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

First: What a great plugin! It does exactly what I was searching for

Is it possible to change the Question-ID somehow? I make puzzles and name them #1, #2 etc. So normally it would line up perfectly (question-ID=1 for puzzle #1). After a mistake I made, I deleted one question but the ID numbers goes on. Any possibility to recover it?

two transactions with same ID number

One of my buyers made two transactions, one after the other. They were for the same sum of money and the buyer’s details were the same. But only one appeared in my Cart Orders and only one seller’s email was sent out. So one sale was not recorded at all.

Looking through the log file, I see both transactions, but they have the same [wp_cart_id] number. Why does this happen, and how can I stop it?

SPAM attacks ID number

Hi,
I had a problem with SPAM form attack, so I used reCAPTCHA. Problem looked solved but it continues in the way that the ID number (which I use as an ID number for our starting list) is increasing continuously. It seems that SPAMmers are able to go through the form without filling in all the items.

Flashcards will not post past 10

Everything works great, except once I get to [easy_flashcard id=10] the id number stays at 10 and the flash card groups merge, so that every id number past 9 will be joined to id= 10. So you have to only use 9 flash card groups. Is there an easy fix or patch for this issue?
