Would it be possible to add another one for [spaces] that converts the %20
space character to a hyphen? I have a load of URLs that have both uppercase characters and spaces, so doing them all manually will take ages!
Example:
Source: https://mywebsite/North%20London/subpage/
Target: https://mywebsite/north-london/subpage/
I would like to use:
Source: ^/(.*)/subpage/
Target: /[lower][spaces]$1[/spaces][/lower]/subpage/
any idea about this ?
]]>On my website and only in Chrome it replaces all hyphens with a small black column saying “noglyph”.
One Example you can find here is: https://www.bianchi.ch/agb/ (schriftli-chen) in the first paragraph.
I’m using the Avada Theme and the google font ?Cormorant Garamond??but i tried changing it to Georgia and it happened too, although the hyphens were replaced with an empty square symbol.
Tried emptying WP Typography cache and rewriting the word manually to see if there’s a hidden or anything but it is definitely generated by WP Typography and only in Chrome.
Any Idea what causes this?
Cheers
PS: This issue is new because I’ve been using WP Typography for years on that website together with Avada and would have noticed. Also WP Typography caused a critical Error last week and the whole website went down after Auto-Updating WP Typography (until i upgraded WordPress and the Avada theme too).
]]>In file names, spaces are automatically converted into hyphens. That works fine. But in directory names, spaces are simply deleted. For the end user, this is confusing, because they keep trying to insert spaces. Can this be fixed?

]]>However after plugin installation and minimal configuration I see a fatal error while searching for a term like this (/?s=e-learning):
Uncaught Error: Argument 1 passed to relevanssi_mb_strcasecmp() must be of the type string, null given, called in /public/app/plugins/relevanssi/lib/sorting.php on line 268

I changed these settings to see if they would solve this, but they did not. We are using Woocommerce.
* Advanced indexing settings > Hyphens and dashes: Remove
* Shortcodes > Expand shortcodes: disable
How can I solve this?
]]>Just want to know why or even how I can remove the hyphens in front of the product catogorie, and since changing the button colours in the woocomerce they have over riden the colours of the hover on the cart on the action buttons.
Any help on these would be awesome thanks
]]>I use so-called non-breaking hyphens in my product descriptions. While being properly displayed in HTML (including emails), they aren’t shown correctly in the generated PDF invoices.
For example: “Excel?Tool” (HTML) turns into something like “Excel[]Tool” (PDF).
Is there a way to solve this problem?
Many thanks and kind regards,
Muxus
Im having an issue where a user with a double barrel or hyphenated surname is unable to add the hyphen into the Last Name field when checking out. The same issue persists further down the form where they have a hyphen in the domain of their email address which is also not being accepted so their account is getting created with an incorrect email address and therefore they are not recieving any order confirmation emails.
Im not sure why this would be happening but i was wondering if there was a way to prevent this from happening?
Thanks
Kris
]]>I want to add hyphens to the phone number fields so that when someone enters thier phone number, the hyphens separate the area code and numbers with hyphens like this (123) 456-7890 or 123-456-7890.
How can I do this?
]]>I have a question about hyphens. We saw that wordpress is breaking down long words, but not according to the Dutch grammer. The hyphens can differ on each monitor and most of the times break down incorrectly.
For example: the word gebruikerssessies should be gebruikers(-)sessies, not gebruik(-)erssessies.
Is there a possibility that the hyphens always correspond to the Dutch grammer?
