I created a new submit form using your Contact Form 7 but when I tried testing it the R.S.C. was not working. It gave me this notice “Validation errors occurred. Please confirm the fields and submit it again.”

I know for sure that I typed in the right text. I even tried it with case sensitive. My website is www.biz-mania.com

[Plugin: Page Peel] SWF is always over the content page

Hi,

I’ve installed Page Peel Plugin on my two WordPress blogs.

On one of the two blogs, even if the page peel in closed, the swf area is “over” the content page. So visitors are not able to click on links on the right top corner of the page (the same area as big image file). The content is displayed, but the mouse hand is not displayed. If I click right, I see the swf layer is always opened and ON the content.

Do you already have this issue? What would be the solution please?

Installing New Plugin Help

I am attempting to install a new plugin, and it is asking me for my Hostname, Username, and Password. I am sure this is simple, but I think I know which username and password to use, but the hostname is where I am confused. I set up this blog a few months ago and I have not had time to mess with it much, and now I don’t remember if there was a hostname somewhere I needed to write down. I am not good at all this stuff… Thanks to anyone that can help!

My server says that there is no GD support so I can’t get thumbnails. My pictures are there, there is just no “preview image” if you will. Anyone know a fix?

jQuery/jQuery UI

Hi,
is there anywhere a in-depth tutorial or documentation on how to include the jQuery and jQuery UI libraries? I have been trying since yesterday with no result. Nothing hides, nothing works, and the error code is “jQuery(‘#tabs’).tabs is not a function” due to the not found libraries. I have read throug serveral tutorials and documentations and found out that the jQuery libraries apparently should be included in the footer. Can anyone help me out here. That would really make me happy.

How do you show a menu of pages listing subpages of the current parent page

I’m wondering, is there a good “wordpress-way” to list all parent or “root” pages in a sidebar, and if you are on a child-page of something also display this page and all its siblings in the menu as well – but only those, not all subpages there are? Ahh confusing. What I mean ist, you know these typical 1999-Portal-Sites that have a menu on the left showing you on which page you are right now in such a manner:

Section 1
Section 2
….SubSection2
….SubSection2
….SubSection2 (where you’re on right now)
….SubSection2
Section 3
Section 4

hope that’s not too confusing.

xmlrpc.php and Windows Live Writer Error

I use Windows Live Writer to write posts to my blog. However, today I cannot publish any new posts using any desktop client. I keep getting errors such as the one below (Windows Live Writer):

I’ve made sure that the xmlrpc option under Writing is check in my WordPress options settings. The xmlrpc.php file permission settings are currently “744”.

I’ve read on several threads that it could be a PHP 5 issue, but this was working for me all last week. Surely something didn’t change on PHP 5 in a few days time.

I am the main administrator for our blog. Ever since upgrading to WordPress 2.7 when I click on any plugin update information link I get “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

I tried asking this question two weeks ago in the How-To and Troubleshooting forum and got no response.
