The hosting partner we use provides a function called “One-Click Apps”. On this WordPress was shown as installed version 3.5 and an available update to version 4.9.26.
Afterwards we found out that the most recent version 6.7.1 was already installed and now the files were overwritten by this “One-Click Apps” function. As a result of this the website now shows a HTTP error 500. There is no backup of the files (we now indeed know to always do backups before changes).
Is it even possible to get our website running again by replacing the files from version 4.9.26 with newer files? Or are there any other way to get our website back running again?
Many thanks and best regards

]]>I was practicing to develop websites, and to start again from scratch, I reset my site using the wp-reset plugin. And I uninstalled WordPress and then reinstalled it again through my C-panel. After reinstalling it, I can no longer access the wp dashboard becuase the following error ocurs. I had loads of error logs and chache in wp-content in the file-manager so I deleted some files.

I updated my site to the latest 2.7.7 version – However, now whenever I’m trying to log into the dashboard (all other backend sites are working) I get a WordPress HTTP error 500.
I tried disabling and enabling all plugins and when I disable the Modula plugin the WordPress Dashboard is working again – but, well, my galleries are not.
Any one experiencing the same issue and might know a fix?
