But there are numerous useful HTML tags missing, such as abbr, small, etc.

Hi.
We use the free version of MaxButtons which really does give our website an accessible, good looking style.

We have just started the use GoCardless, so I matched their hex code, and created:

[maxbutton id=”12″ text=”GBP 523.25 a month for 24 months with GoCardless” url=”https://pay.gocardless.com/BRT00039D4TTC0E”]

and:

[maxbutton id=”12″ text=”Pay GBP 12,558.00 now with GoCardless” url=”https://pay.gocardless.com/BRT00039D4GZEQG”]

I would like to use a
tag after “now” but obviously cannot as “” indicates button text.

If anybody has any ideas, I would really appreciate your time!

Wordfence xss firewall blocking rule not working

Hi,

I am using Wordfence free version. Also using Ajax Search lite plugin. Xss Cross site scripting rule is enabled for WAF. But when any script code is entered in the search box, the WAF is not blocking the request and the script is getting executed. The same settings are used in the staging environment and there it is working fine.

Can you please help on this?

This is just a report on an issue related to PHP snippets and using HTML tags inside of those. The code editor is trying to be intelligent I’m sure by not allowing malformed HTML, but in PHP code, that’s illogical to require proper opening and closing HTML tags. In two examples, I’ve run into this bug where WPCode tries to add closing HTML tags to the end of a PHP snippet or just straight up deletes my closing HTML tag because there was no opening tag. In the case of strip_tags(), I was feeding it a string of allowed tags like so: strip_tags($html, ‘

’) but WP Code would see that there are no closing HTML tags for those HTML tags in the second parameter of the function and just plop them at the end of the PHP snippet messing up the entire thing. In another case, I was searching for closing tags to dynamically insert content using the_content filter after X number of

closing tags and when I saved the code snippet containing a variable assigned to ‘’, it just removed completely obviously rendering the code useless. The result is I had to use another code snippets plugin to achieve what I wanted in one situation and was able to reformat the the allowed tags in strip_tags to an array and make it work in the other situation.

Hi, great plugin, but is there a way of allowing some html tags to show in the excerpt? I tried a function that does this in native WordPress archive pages, but doesn’t work for your plugin.

Alternatively use the content in a Custom Layouts template instead of the excerpt?

HTML in FlipBox Description not rendering

Hey there! Use this plugin with short codes. We were using additional HTML in the Back Description field on flip boxes to add extra links. We noticed today that the HTML is not rendering links, just showing the issue today. Before now the HTML was rendering as expected. Wondering if this could be an issue with the latest update of the plugin? We are on Version 1.8.1

Any ideas?
