Getting Website Header on Htm pages

I have a website I’m designing for a client who really wanted this form and others like it to remain the same from their old website. The page with a form is here https://dit.msr.mybluehost.me/forms/Outfitters_Liability_Quote_Form.htm.

They want the main header for the site to be on this form page and the other form pages. I had to upload the pages from the old site into file manager to get them on the current website. Can someone please tell me how I can have the main header for the site appear on the form pages too?

Hi all! I have a website I’m working on for a client whom I’m switching their old HTML site to wordpress. They have a lot of forms with a variety of styles with fill, radio buttons etc. I have access to their File Manager for the site. Here’s there old site

The client’s top priority was that nothing changes in look or function of these forms so I took the files of one of the forms, downloaded it from their old website’s file manager, uploaded it to bluehost’s file manager under “public_html > wp-content > uploads > quote-forms (name of the folder I created for the form and its respective files) and I don’t see the form on my wordpress dashboard or how to get to it.

How can I get to it in the dashboard?

I would love to be able to style the HTML5 Episode player with CSS but the plugin loads the CSS and JS at the end of the document. It would be *amazing* if you could load the CSS in the HEAD of the document before the child theme CSS is enqueued in WordPress.

Can you make this happen? It would save me a ton of effort and would help other theme developers immensely.

How can I edit them using wordpress?

I see them in my wordpress file manager plugin but don’t see a way to edit them within wordpress.

I checked out the HTMP Importer 2 plugin, but all of the support questions are unanswered.

Is there a step-by-step guide for posting a downloaded .htm webpage? I’m a basic www.remarpro.com user and don’t know where to upload the HTML file folder relating to the downloaded page.

old url won’t translate to WP

I am closing an old, dear, heavily followed website due to brain injury. I simply want to change 4 pages to indicate that they will no longer be serviced.
they end in .htm
WP will not allow that. it makes – instead. that would be ok except that when people type in the old url, they still get my old pages instead of the new announcement. they don’t know to ‘drop’ .htm so that they are redirected.
i’m stumped. and losing brain power by the day.
anyone?
somehow I need the original url’s to be used, which includes .htm
help?

Not rediretcting .php, .htm, and .html links properly

I was wondering if this plugin is not nginx-compatible. The 301 redirects do not seem to work from a .php, .htm. and .html link to a new one. As such, I am hoping to hear about any changes I need to make to solve this issue.

Only importing a few htm files out of hundreds

I am trying to import thousands of text files from a large but outdated website, created using Frontpage over a number of years. I have run tests to import a few hundred, but I can only get between a few percent of the pages to import successfully. It suggests that I import the others manually, but given that there are thousands, I really don’t want to do that!

I have tried changing the .htaccess file, which I have copied below. Is there any problem with what I have done with that? Any other suggestions welcome. Please help!!!

.htm links

There are a large number of links to my wordpress site, some of which are in the form of

https://sitename/pagename/

and others are in the form of

https://sitename/pagename.htm

right now the former pages are working but the latter are giving 404 errors But when the site was first created and tested both worked fine.

What has changed? What can I do (possibly something in the .htaccess file?) to have both link forms work again?

How can i translate the word “Search …” in the search form and how can i translate (and where ) the word “read more” ?
