I think I am having issues receiving emails from the plugin.
I have had one or two customers mention that they tried to get in touch but we have not received any emails and there is no record of anything in spam etc. We do get plenty of spam from marketing companies etc which we ignore.
I updated some of the settings regarding the email to receive emails notifications and the “from” email.
I did two quick tests using @hotmail.co.uk as the email with BS first name, last name and subject lines i.e. this is a test etc but nothing came through.
I then tried to make the test email look a bit more legit with a real name (John Conway), @hotmail.com email, subject line (hi there) and some fleshed out comment/message (Hi do you sell 3 religious candles?)
and then it worked.
Is there an auto block on BS test emails or does hotmail.co.uk (the same domain as my customer) get blocked?

]]>The problem is that, even if we’ve configured everything suggested in various guides like SPF, DKIM and the MailPoet CNAME and TXT in the DNS Zone, when we send mail to Microsoft domains like @outlook, @live, @msn, @hotmail all the mails end up in the SPAM folder;
but other domains like @gmail, etc. are working just fine.
We also verified the domain from My Sender Domains.
We even tested the mails with the ‘mail-tester’ service of MailPoet and the results are excellent (9.9/10).
Can you help us to resolve the issue?

]]>Someone sind up to my freebee using a hotmail account. It turns out that MP is not sending th mails to this the hotmail address. Also the follow up mails are not being sent.
Strange enough, it didn’t seem to do this previously with other hotmail e-mail addresses. So whu did it suddenly stop working?
How can this be solved.

]]>This is not a plugin. This is using the default WordPress admin panel, “General Settings” >> Administration Email Request.
I’ve tested with two different Hotmail accounts: nothing shows up in Inbox, Junk, Archive, Trash. Nothing in filters or blocks to explain it.
I’ve also tested with two different Gmail accounts: the confirmation email arrives immediately.
In other words: the confirmation email reaches the tested Gmail accounts. It does not reach the tested Hotmail accounts.
I’ve searched these forums but haven’t found answers. Many people note a similar problem when using plugins, but this is not a plugin issue. This is from the WP admin screen, and no SMTP/email plugins are active on this site.
