Invalid XML on read in WXR_Large_File_Parser::_construct() for file:///nfs/f1a/155767854/files/2018/12/gacetaaeronautica.wordpress.2018-12-16.xml-2.txt (size: 25487838)
Repeated the process with a smaller blog (80+ entries) and it ended completely and succesfully.
Just wonder if the original error stems from a capacity limitation in the free WP account or an error crept into the XML export file.
Can anyone help? We’re exploring ways to move out of HostMonster into a paid hosting solution by WordPress.
Thanks in advance,
Carlos
]]>Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /hostacct/public_html/wpsite/wp-content/plugins/my-calendar/my-calendar-styles.php on line 474
I logged into the HostMonster console (my hosting company) and saw that I could also control plugin activation from there. I clicked activate on the My Calendar plugin and it said that it activated. When I attempted to log in to the WordPress console I received an Error 500 response. I contacted HostMonster support. They tried a number of things on their end:
-Changed PHP versions (5.4, 5.6, 6.x)
-Disabled all plug-ins, re-enable plug-ins
–My Calendar appears to be the only one having issues
-Checked for WordPress updates (already running latest 4.9.8)
-Checked other customers of their sites
–They appear to have same issue (HostMonster/Blue Host)
Support suggested I contact the plugin developer with this information for further assistance.
Any assistance that anyone is willing to provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Try these other domain names (extracted from the certificates):
hostmonster.com
*.hostmonster.com
I don’t have certificates through Hostmonster. Does this mean Hostmonster is blocking me from having a certificate from WP Encrypt?
]]>I did not set this site up but it seems to be a WordPress-hosted site.
The domain registration looks current. We have not made any recent changes to the theme or plug-ins.
Thanks for any input.
I have an account with host monster for hosting my website (westbendnews.net) and they say that the unlimited file plan has a usage limit. I understand that so I went through and deleted the last two years of emails. I then went through and deleted all my non-wordpress picture albums, folders, caches, etc. I found other folders and files that were under the hidden .cpanel folder.
They claimed that I have over 200,000 files and over 9740 directories. What’s funny is it’s now been a week and the counts haven’t changed. The help on chat is practically useless. I’ve asked, “Where are these files and folders at because I can’t find them anywhere?” They said they cannot give out that information because only there tools would show that.
I’m I given the run around?
I can’t find more than a few hundred directories at the most.
In the root/wp-content/cache/all/autonews/TAG directory, I find there are a lot of directories but not near that many. Can I deleted everything, including subfolders, in that cache folder?
I still don’t think I’m using near the space they claim.
Is There a way to see file/folder counts in each directory/subdirectory? I’ve tried using FileZilla and clicking the directories, but I don’t see what I’m looking for.
Anyway, I’m frustrated because The wordpress is nearly pristine in my directory and all the tech could say is he can upgrade me to the 300,000 usage limit on the unlimited plan that I have.
]]>The problem is, I can’t log into the site on my local host. I think since updating it to 4.0. I know the admin/password is correct. Here’s the error I get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method wpdb::esc_like() in C:\Xammp\htdocs\wp\wp-includes\canonical.php on line 527
I checked the canonical.php file, line 527526- and it says:
if ( get_query_var(‘name’) ) {
$where = $wpdb->prepare(“post_name LIKE %s”, $wpdb->esc_like( get_query_var(‘name’) ) . ‘%’);
So I’ve tried:
-Turning off the theme and plugins.
-Creating a new user.
-Replacing the wp-includes and wp-admin folders.
I know it has something to do with the WordPress update and how it works with “esc_like”
I’ve read this but have no idea what any of it means.
All I need to do is log in and get an export file. Is there a way of doing that without logging in? Can anyone help me out with this?
]]>Site: www.tina-george.com
Issue: (as a non registrant) homepage improperly loads (no slider / no feature image / no left nav/no header / no logo) seems to default to MOBILE version and not DESKTOP version
**no issues to report when logged in as ADMIN**
Theme: Customizr
The main domain on Hostmonster is caribeshuttle.com
I registered a new domain, GoBananasCostaRica.com, and I made it an Addon as follows:
Addon Directory: public_html/gobananascostarica
Addon Parent: The domain gobananascostarica.com is aliased to gobananascostarica.caribeshuttle.com
I then used the WordPress installer in HostMonster (aka One Click, aka Mojo Marketpace (used to be Simple Scripts)). It asked me to select the domain I want to install wordpress to, and then I hit the button to Check Domain.
It came back with this statement that followed a check box:
“OOPS! Looks like something already exists there! I understand that continuing will overwrite the files.”
What could already exist there?
If I check the box it takes me to a page where a bunch of fields are filled in like site name, email, pass/user, and a box to check if I want Hostmonster to automatically create a database.
And then the button to INSTALL.
I am afraid to hit that button because I am afraid of losing the files in my main blog, caribeshuttle.com. I am more afraid because of the statement, “OOPS! Looks like something already exists there! I understand that continuing will overwrite the files.”
Am I safe to click install?
]]>Working on-line through the Hostmonster access, I spent many hours building a small company website. I did so under the temporary URL https://66.147.240.157/~sailstar/starlight/.
After transferring my permanent url: https://www.sailstarlight.com to Hostmonster, I mistakenly changed my temporary url to my standard URL (obviously not the way to move your site to your Hostmonster URL.
Can someone please tell me how to regain access to my site and fix this??
Thanks
