I need to create copy of the few galleries to the new hosting server. I have huge gallery list, but I need to copy just some special sets of the gallery settings and images. Where to find settings of some particular gallery?

Server security problems caused by Give

My web hosting service keeps blocking my connection. The reason they have provided is that the script for Give’s custom fonts is setting off security flags. I’m not sure what that means since my connection to my site is blocked whenever I navigate to my WordPress dashboard or update any plugin.

I have deleted and reinstalled the give plugin but my connection continues to be blocked.

I can maintain my connection to my site only by deactivating Give.

White screen of death on both : blogs and admin

I am having issue while moving my WordPress site from localhost (WAMP server) to the hosting server. I stumbled upon so many forums to solve the white screen but not luck so far. These many things I have tried on my hosting server without any progress yet :
1) Reinstalled the wordpress : manually and through the wizard from cPanel
2) Created the database manually as well
3) Changed the DB name, User id and password in wp-config.php file but no luck
4) Enabled the debug mode in wp-config.php file like this :

define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

still no luck
5) Increased the memory size in wp-config.php
6) Checked the logs in cPanel which is not giving me any lead
7) Also checked the extra line (empty line) after “?>” at the end of the wp-config.php file which looks good to me. No line break.
8) Renamed the plugins and themes directory to disable, no luck there.
9) Updated the values manually of template, stylesheet and current_theme “option_name” column of “wp_options” table
10) Replaced all the localhost url to my website url after exporting the DB

Can anybody please help me out here to fix this White Screen of Death issue?

I’v recently updated WP to its latest version, 3.5. Yesterday I noticed that whenever I post any article to my blog, it allocates around 30 MB of space (post normally contains around 300 words with single 45 KB jpg-image). I contacted with my hosting provider but they said it’s not hosting server’s problem, rather something might be got messed in wordpress (or anywhere in my end).

If this keep going on, there would be no free space within one week in hosting account.

I analyzed every possible issues, but found no solution.

Why nearly 30 MB of space is being occupied for each posts? Do you know how to solve this issue?

Is is usually viable to do the development of a WordPress site on the hosting company’s server in such a way as to keep it unavailable for public access until ready?

I’m intending to do most of the work on my daughter’s site, though as it’s a collaborative effort we’ll both be taking a hand in it from different parts of the world.

If I do the development on my local machine using WampServer there’s likely to be a bit of an access bottleneck for her, due to my very basic Internet service.

Hello to All,

I have hosted my blog on wordpress servers at the following link https://cupeblog.wordpress.com/. Everything is working fine regarding this blog. Now I am intended to transfer my blog from wordpress server to a new domain.

As per wordpress guide, I exported an xml file from existing blog’s administration using export option under Tools. I installed fresh copy of wordpress on new hosting server and imported the xml(Also checked the import download and import attachments checkbox). It finished the import successfully.

Now everything is working fine on the new site but its confirmed that theme, media images and plugins would not be imported by using the xml method. Fine

My concern is that I want to pull out everything(Theme, istalled plugins, media images, posts, categories etc) from the blog hosted on wordpress server. I know how it can be done i.e. using keeping the backup of source file and database files and import them into new hosting server.

So my question is that how can I take the backup of my blog’s source files and related database from the wordpress server?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
