Here’s a question for anyone whos great at wordpress automation, or how to automate Pages in wordpress:
Im looking to create multiple holiday versions for my website homepage, I,E a Halloween version, Christmas version, summer version etc.
I’d also like to pre-build these versions, and have them saved for when the specific holiday/time of the year is coming close.
The idea I have is when the particular holiday is near, to have that very specific version of my homepage be published (go live) , then unpublished once the holiday has passed.
Essentially automating homepages, and swapping them in and out throughout the year.
Some ideas I got from others is creating holiday “sections” in my builder, then hidding them until the specific holiday approaches.
Although I have considered it as a last resort, however it would make navigating my builder kinda difficult and clunky, since I got these hidden sections sitting around lol.
Especially since I plan on having more than a couple versions saved. I use Elementor pro.
I know it may be abit confusing. But does anyone know a way to navigate this kind of automation?
Much love, Im very curious on if there is a plugin that already does this.

The issue is we have some content translated into Chinese, but not all. We therefore only want the content that is translated to be displayed when the user clicks the Chinese language key.
Any help would be most welcome.

]]>Building a site has 3 ‘sections’ (customer, vendor, advisor). Each section has its own home page and have different menus.
a number of pages are the same on all sites (‘about’, ‘privay policy’ and for instance and some others)
menu at very top of site links to the different homepages
Requirements:
I’m wondering if any plugins would help here, or figure out the best way to accomplish this reliably
I have mostly created a function to handle the 3 home pages, 3 different menus, basically using advanced custom fields to associate a menu with a homepage and checking parents of a page to see which ‘section’ we’re in.
But it gets complicated when dealing with pages that are in multiple sections. The main issue is reliably handling pages with the same content appearing in multiple places. I have looked at creating ‘clone’ pages that have a field to specify which other page they mimic. this isn’t ideal bc there’s a ton of wordpress pages.
Getting page parents based on where it sits in the nav menu instead of the wordpress page hierarchy would be great (just know that some pages aren’t in the menu (linked within content of the page in question), but we could add them and just not render them in the view)
Would wordpress multisite be the way to go here?
]]>Fatal error: Call to undefined function load_textdomain() in /homepages/46/d74474883/htdocs/wildireland/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 16
Although WordPress is recommending to run on PHP and MySQL ver 5.6 or higher 5.6, I’m trying to install on PHP and MySQL ver 5.5. I’ve looked at the database settings on the server and can upgrade PHP to ver 7, but not MySQL, so I left them as is. I’m guessing though that there isn’t a great deal of difference between ver 5.5 and 5.6.
Can anyone pinpoint the likely problem?
Thanks.
